    Thanks Dawnseeker. Speech texts I can understand but in reality they play a very small part in the problem. Ammies dont change a battle at all, per se, but they do help a player compete on a more equal footing against established players and big coiners. It doesnt solve every problem but they do help. The success rate though for a decent spin sucks so one spin a day wont help anyone, least of all non/low coiners.

    This would also take away the ridiculous amount of clicks required and put players who do not have FB on a more even footing.

    Having said that I do like FB gifts for other stuff too, so dont take that as me wanting to eradicate gifting

    And make the spins make sense. Once you have armored up there is no reason for a player to have cloth, wood, iron or any of the other.

    Even with all this even if the bring the ammies back, the root of all problems stem from botters and multi accounts. Evony take care of the botters. bitters botters botters. That will make even coiners work hartd. without bots you wont be able to mass lvl 5 fields at the start of a server. therefore it will take longer to upgrade alll those HH's, also it will slow the flow of gems for large star sets coming from all of thse 5's.

    multitapping was taken out -> reason: will make ppl battle more. result: ppl battle less cuz they cannot march their troops with the minimal food they can farm.
    Kings and Queens removed -> reason: god knows!!! result: stopped players from buying adv ports to port on others to go get the king or queen.
    Ammies removed -> reason: "too plain" losing value. result: non coiners or lil players now lose every opportunity to win gear and materials or even anything they might need. and yes i said every opportunity cuz one ammie a day will not make them build fast enough to level the playfield with the coiners who get 5 ammies with every pack they buy.Its the smaller player that is at disadvantage yet again here. and no i m not one of the ones "hit" by this since i do coin.


    Evony, PLEASE stop fixing what doesnt need fixing.
    If you want to level the playfield make it easier for non coiners to build as big as coiners (i m sure you have smart enough programmers to set "if ... than... or if... not.... commands")
    If you want more battles decrease food upkeep. it will make ppl wonder more about who the next target is than to actually wonder what friggin npc they didnt hit yet today.




    Evony can drone on forever about "leveling the playing field", however, they care nothing about doing that. They care about making more money and that is exactly what this change is intended to do, force people to spend money for things they used to be able to get from the wheel. This game used to be fun, but greed has taken the pleasure from it.

    Thanks for reading the thread and passing on the feedback. Please note that a tiny number of players actually use the forums, so while maybe only 50 people will complain here, there are many more that aren't posting here. If everyone here is saying 1 thing, it is highly likely that 95% + of all players are saying the same (in this case just age 2 players).

    As far as I know, and from everything I've heard from everyone I've spoken to, very very few people have an issue with removing speech texts, in fact that is a good move. That has been restricting PvP, making cities uncappable, etc etc.


    The issue is the removal of ammies. For a non coiner, they were the only way to get all level 10 gear, advance ports, and the odd cents win to spend on what they want. Nothing whatsoever game breaking. An advantage over people who don't use facebook, but not enough to prevent coiners having a huge advantage. A nice middle ground. While used legitimately at least.

    The 2 main glitches that I have heard of causing the issues are the commission quests, and a script to win 1k cents every time. The easier solution to the first one is to either stop commission quests, or actually ban the alts. Make them have to go through all the trouble of setting up a new alt, getting it colonised, making sure they win the quest, etc etc.


    For the 1k cents exploit, just log any player that receives the 1k more than 2 times in a week. Flag them up for investigation. And then ban then. Problem solved.

    Of course there are other exploits related to ammies, that you would easily find by placing 1 undercover account on a new server, and have them play it for 2 weeks, getting into good alliances, etc. Doesn't even take much effort, could just 'cheat' the account troops, cities, etc, so the person doesn't even need to play it, so it doesn't cost you any money/employee time. Will find glitches like crazy that way.


    But removing ammies for everyone because a few people cheat, and evony can't or won't ban them, or either just patch the glitches? I don't see how anyone can expect that to go down well with the players.

    Sorry DS but the logic is flawed there.....Speech texts, you were right to get rid off.....But removing ammies has made Age II into a game where only people who spend can completely rule.....Unlike the usuauly people who dont spend who catch a couple of months after the server has begun....this game now only has place for coiners. I spend, nothing wrong with it (not anymore) but the amount of people who play evony will reduce now, i guarantee it..


    has anyone ever seen that episode of South Park where stan goes to Congress and he finds out they make decisions by cutting of a Chikens head, letting it run round a board with different options for the country and where ever it dies, what ever option it lands on, thats what happens....this is what evony has done here, it must be! Whats next...getting riding of Hungry No More? Historical hero's? Oh no wait...we can only login for one hour a day?

    I understand that you want people to feel free to play evony without a facebook account, and that's fine. Let them work for their rewards. I also feel that the speech text removal is a good move. But as far as the amulet removal goes, you are losing a lot of players if this sticks. I understand coiners are a necessary evil if you are going to pay for servers, and people to maintain them. The amulets that most players recieve are spun in honesty and good faith. Removing the one thing that put a lot of players anywhere near even with the big coiners is a bad move. Right now, I am hearing talk of a lot of players quitting both in the forums here, in Alliance and World Chat, and even in the comments section of your post explaining it. And in regards to not wanting people to feel that have to have a Facebook account to make this game fun, you already have a place for them-Age I servers. I was finally starting to get on a good roll with help from the items I recieved from the amulets, and now have to look forward to literally tens of thousands of farming trips to try to even come close to lvl 10 gear or anything higher than a 5-star set. I really hope this gets repealed, because overall, I enjoy this game, but if there isn't anyone left to play with other than serious coiners who don't care, I really don't want to be a part of that, especially sine they will be leaving pretty steadily too as they discover that after 3 months, its only other coiners left on the server.

    removing the speech texts is not a bad thing, but it does give the Governor much more value now you will see many more alts being created just to attain the governorship
