in feb it was stupid, in march, april, may, june it was a stupid move, next month it'll still be stupid, next year it'll be stupid, nobody that plays thinks it has any value, it has had no impact on anything except now there are more sister alliances, it was a massive fail but instead of admitting it was a fail just don't even acknowledge the complaints after the first week or so

Multiaccounting (cant honor drop for an alliance mate anymore)

Teamwork, hopping to a sister alliance to render some support, i dont see it happening so much anymore.
Some semi-positives I have noted since the 24-hr alliance cooldown was implemented...
More: longer-term strategic planning
(and yes, this includes TEAMwork, with real plans and everything)
More: inter-alliance communication, multi-alliance coalitions cooperating against bullying accounts
Less: wild-hare flighty BS hop-hop-hop "strafing runs" by idiots on a lark

More: Bullying top alliances dictating the actions of smaller / less-powerful alliances (as contrasted with whaling the tar out of one targeted account at a time)![]()

The 24-hour cooldown isnt the worst thing Evony has implemented, not even close lol The only real difference it made was instead of being out of alliance for 5 minutes to transfer cities, or hit trebs, you are out for 24 hrs. So its a matter of time. But lets face it, in this game, nothing is done quickly. Remember waiting 300 hrs for archery level 10? So waiting 24 hours to be back in your main alliance, isnt that difficult. Most of us are working and/or sleeping during a lot of those 24 hours anyways lol
For those of you complaining that a host or VH got drunk and booted you for no reason and you were out for 24 hrs...well, sounds like they did you a favor. Find a better alliance with a better host.![]()

(i know theres "respectable norms and expected ways on how to defeat an alliance through war )
that said, the way that 1 person did it is quite acceptable by terms & cond which makes it a legit strategy
