    Default New Policy?

    Have to say I'm pretty peeved at the recent removal of a large pecentage of the level 10 npc's on server 163, having spent a bit of dosh on developing a good sized field and having a massive need for food playing on that server is now not an option.

    I've played on several servers and never experienced this before is this a new policy or is this something we'll see more and more in the future?

    Evony routinely clears player-made NPCs periodically on all servers.

    Then there's a mad rush by everyone's bots to rebuild their NPC farms.

    Thanks a lot TentPig

    That's why I've left the server, I don't bot and building them afresh is just way too much trouble and at any rate a large proportion of my troops would have died by the time I get them all built again, though I'll bear your advice in mind for future reference, certainly wont be buy cents to flip 5's anymore

    Not all no but a high percentage of them, I assume theirs a way of removing a percentage of them, maybe when a state or states are tied up too much it will remove them so that new players can join.

    I didn't count what I'd lost but from a field of around 30 lvl 10's I had half a dozen tops left over, so not good.

    According to TentPig this is routine though I'll say in the 5 servers I've played its never happened before, so I think its not routine but more of a counter measure to solve overpopulation issues. Yes I'm aware of the practice of removing unused npcs and player towns during maintenance but not this, this was an hour long maintenance several hours after daily maintenance.

    This is just a server wipe of player generated NPC's and the NPC's that remain are naturals. It isn't done often on older servers (as far as I know)(which is nothing, in regard to inside information).

    Thanks for clearing that up Rodri, can you clarify what a neutral npc is? Is it one that more that one player farms, because that would make sense.

    Why fret it? In a few days everyone else's bots will have rebuilt all the NPC fields. THen you can farm all you want. It isn't like they actually own them or anything.

    Natural npc's are ones that are permanatly on the map. You can convert existing npc's to any level you want. For example there is a lvl 3 npc next to one of your cities you can cap that npc port it away wait for the flat to reach lvl 10 build a city and abandon.......natural 10.


    On another note, typical tent pig comment.........never seen bots a few weeks back but now they are everywhere and knows all their tricks
