    Default gates closed and comforting fix

    Ok so im sick of hitting a 12 or 14 hc and them comforting for 6 hour

    So what about this?

    When your gates are shut and been attacked your troops refuge when food hits 0

    Open your gates and your troops don't move

    This forces.you to fight or loose troops

    lol what a silly idea.......use troops to defend yourself!

    Who would have ever thought that in a war game you would need troops to keep your stuff?



    Doubt this thread will make it very far

    I say the comforting change is a step in the right direction, I argue facts and real ongoing situations of the matter...
    You dream up ideas that don't exist and STILL blame botters and STILL feel it's fair to have something forever in a war game...

    A thread on this very subject has been recently closed. To be honest during the 400+ posts the same points were recycled over and over again and I was one of those very people who had the record set on repeat.

    In short this subject has been done to death.

    Evony wants you to be online as much as possible. If you can still lose (cities/heroes) while being online then it will turn people off... then they stay offline.

    That is a very good point about what appears to be the evony business model. Players spend more money when online. If you can lose a city when you are online or off, not much of an incentive for a player, especially a normal player who does not have millions upon millions of troops to defend with, to spend as much time online.

    but Morgan is right, and this topic has been done to death and no one ever changes their mind, and probably no one from evony actually reads it. :/

    It is really the HCs that matter here. With regular cities, porting and trucing also give breaks. So if, and that is a very big "IF", they ever fix comforting, the solution for the weaker player is to not have HCs.

    36 hours of no upkeep and 90% of the HCs captured are just HCs being "passed" to teammates

    What if HC's could not reinforce troops away from the HC? Every troop you send into the HC stays there either til it dies on defense or in an attack!!

    my opinion is that the passing of HCs doesnt need to be part of the game. . .
