Hmmm....this place sure has gotten quiet over the past few weeks!
Okay, so 1st of all, I would apologize for dbl posting, but you guys leave me no choice considering my last post was 18 days ago. 2nd of all, I guess the Lambs heard 'bout my shearing party, and decided it was too dammit cold to lose their wool, gave my boys somethin to chase instead. Tie game?!! WTF
Now then! Onto last night's game. (Bear fans may take their leave now *giggles*) Although I do hope Smith recovers from his injury...I have to say Kaepernick is turning heads w/ last night's performance. He mixed in a running game w/ his stellar throwing game, Niners showed Bears (& many critics) they may just have to accept their 8-game losing streak in Candlestick Park (since 1985)! Urlacher? Eat your heart out baby! The Smith 'brothers' broke out a dominating 12-pk o' Whoop @$$ on the Bear's offensive line up, including SIX sacks!! Understanding that both teams had their 2nd string QBs in due to injuries...I truly believe that even if Cutler had played last night, he may have gotten the same treatment. The commentators were placing quite a bit of weight on the Bear's offensive & defensive abilities, I thought for sure they would have given my boys somewhat of a challenge. I was blissfully disappointed, I must admit!
A no turn-over, nearly flawless mix of 49ers Offensive/Defensive maneuvers was thrilling to watch! Had me doin the happy dance throughout the game! lol Here is a clip showing one helluva throw/catch...giving my boys the momentum carried through the entirety of the game
