ok dave before you closed the banning accounts thread you said there is an extremely easy way of protecting yourself from being banned by these guys who like to spam your customer service with complaints on players just to get them banned. what is this extremely easy way of protecting yourself? reason why im picking on you for what you said is because of this.

a few weeks ago me and some friends were 10 hopping on a player, after a few hrs we got the npc next door to them and ported it out. as soon as we ported the npc there was a noob planted there before my friend could port in there was maybe only a 5sec-10 second gap between me saying go and him moving in. once that noob hit we both got spammed with mails from the alliance that we were moving in on saying we were reported and blah blah and even tho we were the ones moving in and dropping a noob there wouldnt help us at all we were both given warnings. so we both reported them for dropping the noob there since we know and are 110% sure they have yaeb setup to drop noobs into flats as soon as they are open in there states when they get locked up, 20min later the noob was gone and we got in. My question is how can we protect ourselves from false reports being taken seriously, and i especially would like to know. i consider myself to be the straightest player of any server i dont b0t, and tbh i dont even farm, everything i get is thru plunder and i support a very decent army this way, so if i was to be banned from some false report bs you guys would have a massive charge back coming your way!!!

I too am dying to know the answer to the extremely way, I assume its simply follow the rules. This is obvious information however the response to my prior post on the banning accounts thread not only didnt give a complete response to my concern, it clearly doesnt deny the fact that players can manipulate Evony staff to decide who gets banned and who doesn't. Yes if the player that they decide to spam tickets on was in no way violating the rules than he wouldnt be banned, that is correct. That is also not the issue that I was bringing to attention. The issue is why are players who violate the rules themselves so easily useing Evony staff to pick and choose the violater of their choice to get banned? Shouldnt the peopl who are submitting the tickets get put under the same scrutiny as the one they are reporting? In every case that I have witnessed the people spamming tickets are clearly not looked into at all or else they would all have the same ban. Not to mention the constant boast of "knowing someone they can report to directly" in Evony which they claim to always yield immediate results. Those sort of boasts I would never turn an ear to except for the overwhelming evidence that supports their claims. Such as players that they report who are in no violation of the rules getting banned then haveing their ban lifted in a matter of hours or even less than an hour. These are some of the issues that I would really like to hear some sort of response and explanation to, instead of just haveing the thread closed and being told if nobody broke the rules they wouldnt be banned.

Don't pick on me. I don't take it well. I also don't close threads. In fact, I think this is the first thread I've closed. Why did I close it? You were picking on me.

I don't know why that thread was closed, but it is generally bad form to post a thread complaining about a thread closure. Additionally, it is easy to prevent that "strategy" as I stated in that thread. How? Since you missed it there. (You read the first half of my post, but not the rest of it apparently.)

Don't cheat. Don't break the rules. Don't violate the TOS. It's simple.

So in summary, if you don't want to get suspended for breaking the rules and being reported, don't break the rules. So IF you get reported, nothing is found, and you're fine. Keep in mind though, that when we investigate a player, we can see a lot of things, from a long time ago.

Finally, I would also avoid making threats in the forum, it shows that a fraud action is planned. That's also bad form.

    Remember.

Phillster - Very, very few players correspond with anyone who works on Evony, and those they interact with will not action accounts for them. It's unethical and immoral. Even in the games industry, morality and ethics are important things. Something we tell players is: If you're having a problem, report it and CS will investigate. Additionally, there are internal procedures and requirements that would make it extremely difficult to just action an account for a friend. People making those claims are simply preying on paranoia.

In closing, Phillster, listen to Melri... or the Admiral.
