On age1 flat fillers are a problem because by filling the state players can't port in to attack. Leaving a noob next to a player, having a a full enemy state means you can port in and start attacking right away without needing to adv port and therefore suffer a 24hr cooldown or take a npc. Age 1 players can't march over great distances now since mech are virtually the only form of offence troop used these days.

I'm not saying that age 1's problems are eclipsing age 2's. Just that each game has their individual problems with flat fillers.

It would be great if an Evony rep could explain what the changes are and how they effect play, rather than players all making their own interpretations which could lead to rumour.

EDIT: Dawnseeker has made an official statement on the changes. It's an age 1 change only.
