    This is how it's supposed to work

    Age I World

    Inactive Player Removal
    We've heard you talking about inactive players cluttering up your battleground, so we've added a way to remove them.
    If an inactive player has only 1 city and that city reaches 0 loyalty, it will be removed from the map.
    If that player logs in, their city will be placed randomly on the map again.
    If the player does not log in, their city will remain in limbo until the end of days, when the seas boil, the sky falls, and the last Evony server becomes sentient and is absorbed by SkyNet.

    and these are the rules it is supposed to work by, so says Dave.

    Accounts with less than 100 prestige will be flagged inactive after 12 days with no login.
    Accounts with between 100 and 1000 prestige will be flagged inactive after 14 days with no login.
    Accounts with more than 1000 prestige are subject to being flagged inactive after 100 days with no login. We are not currently marking these accounts inactive, but we may do so in the future without further notice.
    In addition, accounts which have only one city, and that city has high grievance with 0 loyalty will be flagged as inactive after 40 days with no login.


    This could be the reason why people are getting hung up on inactive, because the evony stance is, if you are active, it won't happen to you and if it does .... fill in a CS ticket.

    It is happening to far too many people from what I know and hear about. Again, I shall repeat, the idea if it was working as Dave claims it should is fantastic. However, there is something very much amiss with it's execution, Evony need to step up and either a) fix it or b) admit it was always ment to be this way, instead of fobbing people off to the CS team.

    Okay I get that arguement, maybe it could have been worded differently but has not changed to outcome. My question on my original post still stands:

    Are we going to strengthen our case for Merger by getting rid of these?

    If not then why the hell can't evony sweep the server during reset and wipe single cities with loyalty 0 and do as they say if they log back in randomly place them on the map?

    They manage to destroy my npc fields on a regular basis so surely this is not outwith the power of the Evony Gods.

    Or is the point to make us all busy fools and have less time to bring up other issues?

    a player who hasn't logged for a 7 days or 14 days and is not in HOLIDAY during that time should be considered inactive.
    A player who has 1 city that gets clobbered until it hits 'auto remove' but hasn't logged in for a little as 24 hrs. is NOT inactive.

    get your facts straight before you troll evony about one of the best things they have implemented for a long long time, it takes at least 3 or 4 minutes from 1 mile to reduce a city's loy to 12 then a further hour and a half to get it to 0 not your said half hour... sheesh.. if you know that little about the game then no offence but you kinda deserve to have your city sent to evony limbo.

    EDIT: from 12 loy to 0 is 1 hour 12mins presuming grievance is high not 1 hour 30, my bad

    not mmoanin for the sake of moaning, but.........evony put these pateches in, dont tell ppl, wait well over 12hrs before mods/devs explain it, and then when they do they tell a load of rubbish, ie innactives,

It takes a damn sight longer than 30 minutes to 0 a cities loyalty, after loyalty 15, it drops loyalty 1 every 6 minutes, people that is 1.5 hours add the 30 mins depending on distance of attacker to get to loyalty 15 that makes 2 hours minimum to tear down an active city, that makes your arguements of 30 mins irrelevant.

    ever heard of sleep? work? hours when due to world wide players that maybe ur alliance mates not on?

    What I think is the more important question is here is :If we clear these inactives Does this make our cries for a server merger hold any credence?

    I noticed even when sent to Evony heaven their names remain in the statistics, Some of these servers have been crying out for merger forever, by removing these inactives are we strengthening our case or just doing Evony's dirty work for them?

    Answer me that then I will be content.

    Again I accept that it was not initiated in the best possible way, but that patch was long needed. The fact is it is here and it is NOT going away and from what I see the majority of players are in favour of it. I fail to see the difference between having your last city zeroed out or placed in Evony heaven until the next time you log in, the outcome is exactly the same. It seems to me that some that are complaining are those that set up annoying accounts in 'Big' players backyards to try and make life difficult for them. If you are one of those people sorry guys you need to come up with something better.

    BTW Evony my question on my original post still stands, if you could answer that I would be grateful

    Okay Evony here is something you need to fix here. Is your intentions to make the last city get lost in stasis or all cities?

    I capped a city from a player that was not his last and it disappeared, all that work and I could not get the res or the heroes in there. Now that is the best way to make this game suck if that is the case.

    If that was a side effect of the patch then you need to fix this else you have successfully turned me from a believer to an objector. Please make sure you have not made this mistake.

    The "hang up" about the definition of inactive is simple: Evony implemented something very different than what they said the implemented. When they were questioned on it, they replied with false statements, smart *'ed answers and then insults.
