Follow that up with the 99k cav spam script .. what honest defender stands a chance?

I've also seen these kinds of attacks being sent from multiple cities on the same account. Spreading out the cav, they can spam several at once. This is the tactic that sent most of the people who quit my alliance last year over the top. It isn't the "common" bot attacker that you have to concern with, it's the true cheating bully.
The defender always has the advantage.....
Unless of course you have crap-all for troops and started the game a week ago. If someone can't read incoming reports and process that information in a timely enough manner to setup the proper defense than who's fault is that? Bot's don't make adjustments on the fly in regards to the attacks they are sending as I understand (Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) where as a somewhat experienced player can alter incoming attacks to keep you guessing. If someone can't beat the same exact wave of attacks over and over then I really am stumped at what kind of advice to give anyways.

Now I'm sure you'll say well the attacks can go on for hours, days, weeks......Guess what? That's what Holiday Mode, Truces, Ports are for. But I'm sure no one ever uses those when real people are attacking them, forgive me for thinking that in the first place.......just blatantly disregard the fact that they are a viable option whenever making an argument that includes botting. For the HC owners who can't defend against spam bots that attack for 24 hours straight....guess what there are live people who can do the same. Might re-consider owning a HC if attacks lasting longer than your available time online allows. Here's another completely dumb idea......kill the spam bot accounts troops.......kinda hard to spam someone with no troops right? The attack button is there for a reason.........PLUS NOW YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE AT BEATING THE BOTTED ACCOUNT WITH THE CURRENT COMFORTING CHANGE!!!!! Someone is spamming you with a bot, wipe the city and NPC it.....You can't honestly tell me this thought never crossed your mind at some point??????

Also anyone that has issues with a spam bot just needs to give up now and go play Yahtzee or something (btw Yahtzee Addict on the i-phone rocks). I have never seen simple spam waves EVER do any significant damage........EVER! If someone can't defend against endless waves of say 500 cav/scout for hours on end then I don't know what to tell ya. If traps and abatis are that important in your defensive scheme then you may want to study how CD is more effective against nearly all attacks......now you were referencing spam bot attacks remember that, not someone 1 mile away bombing 100k hammers over and over against CD.

Once again the "Non-Comfort Reform Argument" is to use botting as the excuse why comforting shouldn't change. Refer to my sig....not the silly pic of Mr Burgundy the content below his badazz mug

Well seeing as how a huge percentage of people are using some form of 3rd party software, it would be like cutting their own throat if they one day banned everyone breaking TOS in this way. In noway do I agree with breaking TOS lets just get that out of the way now. Being able to cap 1 city alts, banning found alt users, and this comforting change that is being implemented seems to be a more subtle way to fix the problem without losing a massive player base in one fell swoop. If everyone gets banned at once that is breaking TOS then no one will have the game to play. Nothing is free.....I don't care that the slogan is "Free Forever". If anyone is actually naive enough to believe that servers, required hardware and the staff to run everything doesn't cost real money then I feel sorry for those individuals.

lol yeah right.......I'm not even going to bother with that, it's like someone tossing an underhand softball pitch right down the middle

I say the comforting change is a step in the right direction, I argue facts and real ongoing situations of the matter...
You dream up ideas that don't exist and STILL blame botters and STILL feel it's fair to have something forever in a war game...
