    I really cant believe so people are crying about this fix, and crying about 'Coiners' Coiners get their money by working for it.. Therefore you get a free game, how about you work on your game a little?

    Seriously if ya's spent less time crying and more time thinking you would beable to see all the ways this wont disable a free players game, this only disables a lazy or stupid persons game.

    Toughen the hell up, its a Wargame, now ppl wont feel so inclined to take cities that they have no chance defending!

    i understand why evony did what they did, and i agree...comforting was too strong of a force....but the result i am seeing is that people will now target alts and farm cities instead of war cities....i play the game for the thrill of the fight, not to chase some alts...

    evony, please stop it with the silly new rules and just ban bots and multi accounting....i would be happy to see the end of these stupid war cities, and the return of fights that mean something with real consequences....

    If those who wanted the change really wanted to make it easier to cap cities, if they would be honest about it. That said, no one is disputing the fact the constant comforting bots made it difficult and as I type this I'm willing to bet they're a version that can over come the change.

    Cheating will beget cheating and trying to make it harder on those that are trying to play honest isn't the solution. It's become a vicious circle of "that guy cheats so I might aswell 'cos I can't maintain the same pace". Now the high cost of comforting is making that so much harder. In Age 1, to defend you need to be able to open and close your gates at intervals so that you can maintain minimum troop loss. If there is a prolonged battle how can you keep your heroes and troops deployed? You're left with the stark choice of taking every hit or moving everything out and barbing your city. It's far too expensive to keep. If you use your gold and food to comfort you can't feed your troops as they'll refuse and your heroes will revolt. Not exactly a war game from where I'm standing more of a white wash.

    Where it's true an honest player can not be on 24hours, its entirely possible they have methods in place so they can be contacted if offline. The problem isn't whether they are there 24/7 it's the point that without any type of illegal help they cannot keep their cities. So how can we encourage players to play by the ToS if they have no reason to.

    What about asking their alliance for help I hear you chime. I don't about you but I couldn't expect my alliance to pay the high price of keeping my city. It's seriously unbalanced the game to a point where there is no defence in a war game. It's now all about the attacking. That's why it's unfair and that's why it effects the players who play by the rules because they can't keep a fight up against someone who doesn't. No one plays by the rules anymore I hear you cry, maybe they don't but they aren't going to if they've got no chance of surviving if they do.

    Certainly one change is that any alliance that does not defend vigourously will dissolve

    As someone who hasn't gained from that cursed glitch, I'm glad that the market prices have returned to normal. Now we can at least buy ressies when we need them. So, taking away the gold was a good move and balanced out the game again. It was a direct result of the glitch that people were able to accumulate trillions.

    As for the comfort costs, I'm not sure. That's not going to hurt big players too much. It's going to hurt the little ones the most, imo. BUT, it's going to make it harder for invincible bots to comfort, which is the positive. When someone puts a botted alt account next to you with nothing in it but farmers and trans that can't be killed without spending the whole damn day hitting it, that's a problem.

    I do feel sorry for the small guys in all of this, because it's become an anti-cheat crusade, but it's victimising them.

    I hear that the cost of praying is related to the prestige of a player.

    If this is true it will have massive consequences.

    1. players will continually leave alliances to lower prestige.

    2. Alliances will be full of players below 1 mill prestige

    3. the alliances rating will be irellevant

    What will players be fighting for then ??

    They need to quickly implement a change so you don't lose 10% when you quit an alliance.
