of course, im surprised no1 else had made a thread on this show yet, its awesome and cant wait for the next season. i havent read the books yet myself but i intend to when ive time.

I've read all the books and watched the show.. Based on book to production they have kept it, for the most part spot on.
They went away from the books a bit more on season 2, which I thought was sub-par to season 1.
Still looking forward to Season 3, but have to wait all the way till april!Sig by Jade

As a by the by they did a lot of filming here (Northern Ireland) and I was going to apply as an extra as the only criteria was that you had a beard (of which I had a fine specimen). I either overslept or was working (I forget which) and missed the auditions. Having watched the program now I feel it was a missed opportunity.

Have caught up with both seasons and am now re-watching with my gf...it makes much more sense second time round.
They are after extras for season 4, busy growing beard as I type.
