An interesting take on it Obi-wan, that you would see this as a child being deserted by its father because it's too ugly....
as opposed to a guy who's so shallow and petty that he deserts his own child...
not to mention that you apparently seem to lay all blame at the feet of the mother...
If a desire to be better looking was reason enough to justify "tying her tubes shut", then a large portion of the world's female population just became barren.
