Yeah, it's Rodri's fault that woman lost the suit. He must have been the judge. (Just kidding, actually.)

On a more serious note, I agree with KA. I really hope that woman finds a caring husband, not to mention a rich one. She'll need it.

Not only was I the judge, I was the doctor who advised the woman to get plastic surgery and I was the man's friend who told him his kid was ugly and he should sue his wife for false advertising. I was the guy who shot Kennedy and I started the war in Iraq. I broke the Holy Grail and drew a Hitler moustache on the Mona Lisa when Michelangelo's back was turned.

I am everything bad that ever happened and ever will happen. Right now, I'm out in space pushing a massive meteor onto a collision course with Earth like a child playing marbles. Why? Because I get bored easy and you lot are just no fun unless you have something to complain about. [I also invented Evony and developed every game change since it started.]

considering the baby was to hideous for the website to post, my immediate thought, was what would the baby have to look like for me to leave my own partner, and this is what came to mind:

This might sound harsh, but it would have been better if she either didnt have kids or if she hadnt done the plastic surgery at all. At least then she would have found someone that could have accepted her and loved her for who she is.

Regardless, i do blame the wife for not being honest. If she had truely loved him would she not have been open and honest with him?
Dont worry i dont support his actions. I have no respect for dead-beat dads, but this guy, really should be given the dead-beat dad title of the year. Suing the mother? champion. And here i feel bad when i missed my little girl getting an award at her school.

Isn't this thread indirectly a violation of the forum rules?
Reading some of the replies, this resembles racism and political discussion (which I believe is prohibited topics on this forum).

    I'll give my opinion anyway:
I don't see this the way the news article promotes it.
The father/husband felt deceived, and took actions because of it. A marriage is not about keeping secrets from your partner. It's about trust, loyalty and honesty.

I don't agree with his actions, but I don't believe for a second that the reasons for the lawsuit is exactly like they were told in the news article.

Anyway, this thread should be closed.

there is no racism or political discussion in this thread, if these forums were that bad, deliberately seeking out every minuscule angle at which a topic or thread could be interpreted as infringing upon the rules, itd be dead as a doornail

I think there's been some uglism in this thread. An uglist is someone who makes fun of or is cruel to those unfortunate souls who slipped from the top of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. They didn't just get whacked with the ugly stick, they got beaten to a bloody pulp with it, so to speak. They are so ugly, their mother had to tie a pork chop around their neck to get the dog to play with them. Life has been cruel to the ugly, they do not need your uglism as well.

I believe all threads should be closed! There's nothing worse than a loose thread that is just left hanging with nowhere to go.

Uglitism comes from the heart, and ugly heart. I would much rather spend time in the presence of a good heart, then in the presence of an ugly one. Class, dignity, uprightness, all the good virtues comes from within. Vanity, conceit, comes from superficial thoughts. Take the story of Narcissus, a dweeb who was so enamoured with his own visage, failed to see the beautiful woman who adored him. Her pleas to him to turn around and just speak to her, after a long time became an echo, henceforth she was known as Echo.

What is the mannerism of man to become, when he loses the company of the upright of heart? Will by the time he reaches old age, he then see his folly?, then when it is too late? As such, will lonelyness be his only companion? Or will he surround hisself with false hearts alike such as he, never at ease, never to relax in comfort and trust?

On a side note: when ever did this thread mention anything religious or racist or political? Expand your range beyond the superfluity of illusional offenses. SHEESH!!

That there has. Starting with the guy who ditched his wife when he found out how she'd once looked. I've heard it said the dishonesty might have contributed - I could see perhaps if she had used to be a man it might be a major misleading there, but I mean really... I doubt she's the first who went for plastic surgery and opted not to tell of it. Just look at modern celebs these days. But c'est la vie. It can be said that 'we should accept folks the way that they are' or 'true beauty comes from within', but there still are those who only see skin-deep, and that is quite a shame.

And on that note, why the uglism towards the loose threads? They can often lead to interesting places, help you to find things that you'd long forgotten, and just need someone to see them and pick them up and love them, curing the lonely ache they have in their hearts as a stray.
