Yeah, i'm in Atlanta and even the wind here has been pretty bad. I've been walking and had a few strong gusts knock me a bit off balance. And this is hundreds of miles from the real deal.


I've been through a few hurricanes myself and they're never fun. While i've always been pretty lucky, I did move after one and I've always watched the news coverage displaying countless destroyed homes and lives. I don't think any hurricane is necessarily over-hyped. 75 mile per hour winds are no joke, flooding can ruin homes by the thousands of acres, and power outages in the north, during cold weather? I think it's a bit more serious than you may believe.
I can't imagine a hurricane mixed with snow storm-like conditions. That's scary.
