    Default Proper Wave Set Ups

What do you all consider to be a proper set up for:
    Mech Waves (Ram/Bally/Pults):
    Phract Smack:
    ArchBows:
    Hammer wave:

What other waves are out there that people use?

I feel this could be informative for many...

    Hammer Wave:
There is little variance between it staple is 1k calvary 99karchers

    Mech Waves:
There are many, my personal favorite 40k ballistics 20k catapults 35k archers 1k the rest 500 of each layer.

But i have seen some people use 40kballists 30kcatapults and 30krams to good effect, the only danger with sending pure mechs is if the person goes compact then mechs go splat :-(

Archer rainbow also has plenty of varitions:
1k - 100 of all infantry and mounted units the rest archers
Some add bigger layers like 30k pike or 30k sword but.
Some even go smaller layers or eliminate layers altogether. To explain all them i would have to explain battle mechanics lol and i am not the best teacher for all that ;-)

    Phrat Smack:
Never used these or more importantly never had the opportunity ;-)

It all depends on what I'm targeting with my waves, having a set wave for each attack style isn't the most effective method for PvP.

Phract smacks are probably my fav hit to do, people still under-estimate them
then i enjoy the holy response of a massive mech wave that's ensigned from a 12 or higher

while i agree with cantcapa12, learning set waves while a large proportion of the community do it youre better actually knowing the battle mechanics and how to adjust your waves depending on what youre up against.

    heres some waves not mentioned

delayed scoutbomb. layered sbs, called delayed because scouts dont move until all other attacking troops are dead. then theyll hit the unit furthest out in the field

for mechs theres the layer clearing mechs, adjust layerings depending on which layer youre targeting for maximum effectiveness

theresd the tradefire mech, get ratio of ballies to pults correct so you naximise damage done to defending archers

theres the ram wave, use on compacts with low ranged unit counts, layer with ranged units and melee units faster than the rams to draw archer/ballie/pult fire

jaq attack, effective against archers when no walls present or ballies or pults on either attacking or defending side and archers have highest group attack

compact layer clearer, effective against poorly layered compact defences, use combination of cavs/phracts/rams, 25k each and layer with ranged units and units faster than cavs/phracts/rams to draw archer fire. layer size dependant on ranged unit count and defending attack hero

That's good to know, I've done general waves, but nothing overly troop specific. I've done limited PvP, and those I hit I usually crushed, but I was primarily a multi wave person towards major HCs and reinforced. I want to mainly do PvP on 46 and only hold 1 12 and 1 14.
