The only time I've ever been able to sort-of predict it was during extremely laggy periods where it seemed like it would get stuck and land on the exact same thing 2-3 times. Could be coincidence, but I once won the onwar pack 4 times in a row during a period of extreme lag. I don't know enough about technology to speculate on what could be going on or not with database communication. Just an observation.

actually he is correct, it has been removed, we had one guy on my server try leaving 10 alliances to no avail.

    Now back on topic

This would explain the famous "cents showing up before wheel finished spinning" its actually calculated instantly the wheel is just for pretty effects. Same as slot machines. *Crunching noise as ssfs brain finally catches on after all this time*

Try to make the spinning on the wheel random. I challenge you to make one. It's impossible, lol. And what does it change that it's not exactly random? If it was, theoretically your drops would be the same.

As noted earlier, its similar to slot machines.

As soon as the server registers a "spin" it automatically determines what you will win, the spin is there merely for show and has no effect on the result.

The main reason for this, is simply because if a fault occurs, whilst spinning, the program has already determined, and credited you, with what you should win. This works against server errors, as well as people trying to maniuplate the spin itself.

Having worked in the Slot Machine manufacturing game for a time, including product testing, I can tell you there is no "pattern". It is just like tossing a coin. There is a 1 in whateverpredeterminednumber chance of it being a win, the reels are just there for show. Early mechanical machines may have had a determinable pattern to them, but electronic machines, and physical reel machines that use a step motor for the reels, have eliminated the chance of this.

So, hitting the spin button automatically generates the combination that will appear, and that combination is reset for each spin you make. In addition to this, if you are playing a machine that then allows you to "gamble" the win to try and double it or more, that result is also predetermined. You could be offered the choice of red or black, however, as far as the programming is concerned, your choice is irellevant. It has already determined how many of these double ups it will allow you to win. So, if it has determined that you can win 3 gambles, and you select "red, black, black, red" the machine will reveal "red, black, black, black" because it was only ever going to let you win 3 times.

All of this is determined the moment you press the spin button. The size of your win, the combination of the win and how many times you can "gamble" that win successfully.

Put that in evony, and the moment you click the spin, it already knows what you have won, so credits you automatically.
