    Default Devil / Angels Changes

    I can not find any information on the changes to these items

    i went out of my way to buy packages to get these items and now they dont work the way they were advertized.

    u can no long use the broken gates to lock gates closed u can no longer stack 3 fleet feet and now the most recent issue is that the posion feast says in game items that its 20% hero stat drops for heros for 2 hours stackable 3 times but when u get ur report noticiation is shows only 10% stackable for 3.

    Im not sure which this is but we really need to know how this works cuz it chages how we plot our attacks 30% total is very little when WON and Excall an AOW are all 25% bonus u are only losing 5% ... but if its 20% per then the stackable is for 60% which means if they use the AOW Excal and WON u still get a 35% drop ... since there is contradictory info on this can someone please provide clarity

    I've heard the 'Broken Gates' only allow you to lock an opponent's gates open. This change was possibly brought in because players complained that 'it wasn't a fair fight since they were unable to use their troops and they were going to lose all their resources...'. Hence gates can be only locked open.

    As for the over items, they are fairly new to Age 1 and a little tweaking is to be expected. The percentage doesn't increase when you stack items, it merely increases the length of time. So really it doesn't effect the potency of the items at all.

    As for the percentage drops, I can't say for sure but as I've said you have to expect a little tweaking here and there. If it says so on the box, then it's safe to assume the lower percentage applies rather than what you expected. I can't speak for Evony's advertising though, it seems the dev's changed the items but they haven't changed the official annoucement.

    Fleet Feet does stack and increase march speed and length. 3 times is no longer available because of a glitch was allowing people to march much much faster than the advertised 90%(30% per item); it was allowing mechs to be sent 400 miles in seconds. Bird would flash and then you'd be hit. Some players were cleaning cities of resources ridiculously fast from hundreds of miles away. Transporters that were hitting in 2 seconds and couldn't be hit back because they were across the map. Open gates and get descouted in minutes.

    wow really? ive been 90% boosted and had no such luck, musta been an age 1 thing. but just because they glitched i doubt evony removed the feature, theyre probably trying to fix it

    They did change it..it was happening on multiple Age 1 servers..that's why it's twice only and now it's 35% each.

    Wrong..........the poison feast stacks via percentage, its changed to 10% from 20% on age2 also, if you stack 3 of these it should decrease stats of all heros in 1 city by 60% but it only does 30%.

    Yes i remember that little incident, archer wave and 9 waves of transporters sent from over 400 miles away killing walls and farming citys before anyone knew what was happening. Thank god they fixed that little problem.

    i believe the problem lay in getting boosted more then 3x (ie 4x, 5x 100x you get the idea) but could well be wrong. in anycase it was hard for us to know where they would hit next, because they can hit the entire map within a minute

    the percentage does change with each stack for the first set of hours that is y this matters.

    well i never experianced a glitch with that kind of speed on our server and the one im conserned most about is the posion feast as there are 2 diff discriptions and no place to verify and that makes a huge difference in attack methods

    posion feast says in items that its 20% hero stat drops for heros for 2 hours stackable 3 times but when u get ur report noticiation is shows only 10% stackable for 3.

    would be nice if evony actually informed us of these changes and there was a place to find out how they work this trial and error method is really getting old.

    I wasn't aware of there being a glitch but Kiki eloquently answered your question. There were obviously issues the item stacking. It should have only the time that was increased and not the strength of the item itself.

    It clearly needed addressing as using these types of items were only supposed to 'change the mechanics' not completely whitewash an opponent.

    As I said, I wasn't aware of this. It's clearly a glitch in both Ages as strats should only bring about a slight change not give a huge advantage.
