    Default Making NPCs [age 2]

    Hey again guys,

    I remember reading that you can make permanent NPCs in Age 2. I can't find the link again though. How do you do it?

    If I remember rightly, it involves conquering an NPC, teleporting it away, conquering the flat left behind, build a city on that flat, then abandon?

    If I've got that right, can conquering the flat be left until it reaches the desired level? (E.g. 10 for building a lvl 10 NPC)? Or how does that work?

    you have the general idea. The only way to make a "permanent" npc on age2 is to take an EVONY-MADE npc and port it out. then you wait until it is the level you want (if it's level 1 and u want lvl 10 thats a long wait but in 9 maint cycles you can built on that flat) you build a city there an npc it. if you try to build on a flat that is ONLY A FLAT and has never had an npc on it, you will be building an npc for less than 24 hours.

    well if you are at the start of the server or have a very small player (I'm talking under 200 prestige) near you, kill his city down to 0 loyalty and it will port instantly, leaving a flat. This flat can be npc'd.

    no problem! although i believe I've made a mistake... when you destroy the last city of a player, it does not teleport, but is suspended from the map until it is reclaimed by the player (until he logs-in). Doesn't change anything, but didn't didn't want to cause confusing in the future.
