LOL Tentpig....
This may come as a huge surprise but I know people are openly cheating! I am only one of many 'broken records', those others being the 'it's not fair because of this [enter method of cheating here] and I'm not winning' squad. i have game friends, who I'll politely say are less then honest in their game play. Yes, Morgan has friends who cheat, it's a shocker isn't it? Maybe I'm not so outdated, after all. When I relate the latest scheme to combat cheating whether it's implemented or not they reply with something along the lines of 'I only have to make this change here and then this fix won't affect me...' . Not exactly doing what it's supposed to is it? Discouraging cheating, pfft. They think any 'fix the cheating' idea is dumb and the reasoning behind it is even dumber. At least you are giving them a good laugh.
So to summarize:
- People used various cheats to build large war cities
- In response to this, players used bots and account sharing to overcome this
- Big war city players feel game is too 'unbalanced' and therefore come up with ideas to beat bots and suchlike
- Change is implemented and to overcome this, more cheating is introduced
- Wash, rinse and repeat eternally.
In case that passes you by I'll put it another way; if y'all want the 'level playing field' as claimed then give up your bots, alts and stop sharing your account details. Then work on getting rid of those players who refuse to give up cheating. If you aren't prepared to do that, then stop creating threads to complain, whine, coming up with pointless fixes and having a go at those with logical counter-arguments. Devote that excess time and energy into coming up with strategies and methods that beat the current problems.
Finally, I'll make a deal, if you can manage to stop making threads complaining about the current problems and suggesting ridiculous ideas, I'll stop posting my opinions.
