I did the math early on, and It was 960 Million (or gold) to keep your town safe for a 24 hour span. This is totaly useless due to the fact that you cant have that much in Wherehouses. Once the troops are gone, the food would be looted fast, leaving little to no time for the reinforcements to make a difference.
I ran into this recently while capping a bot town. The other alliance members were doing what they could to rei food and gold, but at every 15 min interval I would hammer the town, and I was able to get the resources out before they stacked up to the 5 million or whatever they were. Yes it will comfort a few times, and thats a pain in the @$$, but a few times is MUCH better then non stop 24/7.
I also tested the DR and the Praying. Both cost an escalated amount, and linked to each other. So if your food cost was 1 mill, so was your gold cost. Has this been changed? Can they now use one and it not effect the other? Or have they made the cap less then 10 million?
The cap at 10 million was great due to players having to Time the reinforcements every 15 min Exactly before attacks hit and wiped out those resources.
If Evony reverted back to a previous setup on either DR or Praying, it will be a huge setback for the servers, and again Bots will claim any town perm.
I really hope this is not the case. Please update on this.
Is the cap 1 mill instead of 10 mill?
Are DR and Praying still linked?
I will test this out as soon as the chance presents itself. Until then, any updates would be helpful.
