    Yes, some glitches are blatently not intended (such as the 93 quintillion food glitch a year or so ago) or the infinite-gold glitch from last month. But others? That's only for the devs to say, and they speak either via the forums, or by implementing in-game corrections to the "glitches" as they are uncovered.

    Gotta agree with ya tenpig, we all have used some glitches in our advantage. like the multi-tap or the trojan. They both have been corrected. This one, however, is one that kills the game completely. That's why we are so ****ed about them using it. Imagine this scenario. They lock up their HCs, and we say ok well lock them up as well. That's effectively the end of the game. HCs can no longer be taken. Now you are not going to tell me Evony intended for Hcs NOT to be taken? ;-)

    Evony has already taken a position on this glitch, Davemata:

    'Even when those promises ruin gameplay for others?'

    I know cheating is very tempting when the game offers the option. Perfectly understandable. That's why it's better that Evony fixes all glitches, so nobody can cheat anymore, and we have a level playing field.

    You calling it a glitch doesn't make it one. Yes, I do agree with you that it is a "glitch"... but that's our opinions, not necessarily those of the gamemasters. I personally felt the "trojan horse attack" was a glitch and said so on the forums, but it took 3 years before the gamemasters changed the software to automatically recall reinforced troops when you quit an alliance.

    Yeah, it sucks you can longer reinforce a person in a sister alliance, etc. But the glitch did take care of the nasty side effect it had when and If someone got into your alliance without permission from another bug that is out there... I'm glad they fixed that.

    We don't even need a perm fix here. All we need is to NPC those HC's after banning the members involved. Until a patch can be introduced Evony could let everyone know that they will be banned upon locking more cities. Simple, fast fix.

    Dannymac has passed London 700,300 to our alliance and Caydern has passed Paris to another red alliance. Vienna (500,300) is still locked by Danny, but I feel I needed to give him credit for unlocking one of them, and his alliance unlocking the other.
    So, Na5 has only one locked 16 and a few 14's and 12's. Progress.

    Very simple really Just plan and wait while the evony staff deal with it OR another method is take a few reg citified of there's until the HC lockers Only has The HC's and one regular cities then deal with him when the glitch is fixed

    What a bunch of crybabies. You waited until the server was all but dead and thought that you'd take everything with no real fight. But surprise, surprise.. they came back in droves from other servers to defend their cities, HCs and HHs.
    You told them that if they went into a particular alliance, Alrekr, they wouldn't be attacked. Funny thing is that Alrekr was blue with you but you were grey with them. haha
    How many months did you guys bot-spam Beijing? 3 months, wasn't it? nasty business. all those war reports.
    I'm always happy to see the rules being enforced but hope that Evony drags it's feet on this one.

    You must be referring to another server. Na5 was never "dead" and Beijing wasn't "bot spammed". It was targetted by an extremely good player who didn't give up. In fact, the owner of Beijing botted it to protect it, and was lost when he forgot to turn his bot on. You can accuse us all you want of botting, in reality most of us do not bot and have no idea how to "bot spam" like the alliance 4400 is so good at. Personally, I don't care if anyone bot's. Apparently you don't either. I love when people accuse others of doing the same exact thing they are doing, like they are the moral police or something. Not one member of your group has had a respectful or polite response to any of this. Instead they post BS with accusations of "bot spamming" all while they are doing it, or atleast condoning it in their alliance. My alliance's WR's are full of "bot spamming" defense reports of 10 cav/10scout waves sent for days or weeks. We have not done this once, and you cannot provide any proof that we have, because we simply do not do it. We do not condone it. Instead, we port and destroy something of yours and then you all shout and cry and lock up cities and call us criminals and thieves and dishonorable.

    In reference to the locked up HC's:
    Only one 16 Remains locked up and it's the one that has been locked up for almost two years. It's apparently a "Memorial" of the player that used to own the account . A memorial that drafts our players when it can. The other two have been unlocked, and one was even given to us for some reason. I guess that cannot be argued.
    One 14 is also locked, as are a few 12's as well. Not nearly as bad as it was. I've heard nothing about a patch. It seems to me that if you want to solve this problem yourself, you have your alliance find and take every single spot on the map that a level 12 HC should be but isn't. Have them build cities on those spots and keep them. That will stop the problem.


    It's funny to me that it upsets so many people that they were not allowed to let there account's sit with HC's and HH's and not even login for weeks on end, while they went and played another server full time. They actually expected there account to remain safe forever, without ever using them. They were totally Okay keeping Na5 "dead" so that they would not have to give up stuff that they did not use. 4 alliances of people litterally stopped playing on Na5 and went to Na35 and never once thought that the people who stayed on Na5 might like to continue playing. They then come back to Na5 and find that they don't have their stuff and well, the rest is history I guess. This topic is getting old. I'm over it, you should be also.
