This post is not only regarding the outage today, but relates to all the years of issues.
Every time I coin, I regret it bitterly and promise myself I won't again due to Evony's poor service, yet sadly do. However the frequency of my coining is dropping. Today I managed to to get back on the one server I play on, not the other after a second daily (oxymoron) maintenance . As for the one I cant, other players can. A team mate that can't is getting waxed. My coining advantage dictates that I should be able to advance port to assist etc. Yet I can't to to Evony technical issues.
These unfair one sided fights have been part and parcel of Evony's history for years now where Evony's ongoing service issues unevenly and unfairly disadvantage their own player base.
Can somebody at Evony explain why, after all these years of these ongoing issues (no exaggeration), these issues have not been fixed? How do you recompense your players for this. A day's free food if everyone really gets upset? Whoopee. You don't need food if a player that could get on killed all your troops or worse while you were cussing the spinning globe.
What about the outage on 1the 1st of Jan? Not even an ingame mail of apology was even forthcoming?
As for the forums - they themselves were down at a stage, just like it was a while ago, with a database error.
If, heaven forbid, you become aware of issues - block all access as to not create the unfair situation where those that have logged can happily destroy the unlucky player that can't log in.
Ensure that players thus far unfairly disadvantaged get recompensed and the issues are evaluated by competent staff that actually are literate and understand the game. I sadly have excellent first hand experience in this regard going back to server 161.
If it was truly "Free forever" (which each player will tell you is not necessarily true) how would Evony survive.
Now please Evony, fix your technical issues conclusively for once and for all. We are already in the year 2013 and the technology used for this game is not dark science anymore. If you can't resolve these issues in-house, knowledgeable consultants are available.
Also please become more client focused.

I appreciate this forum is Evony's I have no freedom of expression here. But
- I do have the right to post certain extracts from these very same forums on another public website under the fair use exclusions in US copyright laws,
- I have the right to start mass player action.
- All those that feel as I do have a free choice to escalate issues to the regulatory authorities under certain laws since financial consideration is involved.
