in the past evony have given out "free stuff" to their players over issues relating to the game in order to placate them. however in spite of a myriad of problems recently, for example server outages, glitchey new items/features in the game, "gifts" that reduce your heal rate instead of the advertised increase. there has been no attempt of late though, to soothe the ever increasing discontent within the community at evony. when was the last time you saw a thread praising the devs/gamemakers or new interesting features? think really hard now.
while granted a power outage is not evonys fault, cities refuging during the downtime is a concern for them and shouldnt be happening.
It's not for you to label players who are experiencing company related issues and possibly paying customers "ignorant" for expecting compensation.
That is the least of my worries. EVERYTHING GONE including level 1400 hero. I was in the middle of moving troops back and forth to main war city since we where in a new war and got booted offline. Ok no problem will wait till it comes back but the issue was 7 hours later still nothing so i went to sleep with no option to drop a truce on while in bed. Wake up and low and behold I was attacked by 3-5 members from the new alliance we where going to war with. Everything is gone. Hero had at the least 3k invested in it not to mention the rest of the items and so on. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT THAT!. You should have set a no attack clause on server for everyone for 12 to 24 hours until people can get set back in as I had no choice in this matter. I could not stay up all night after 7 hours of refreshing the darn page to get the thing to work. Whats going to be done about my money and time lost here? Going to tell me tough crap and takle the future sales from me which have been in the 10-15k over the last 5 years or compensate me for server 172 or something in the form of a refund? I want something done like at the least a server reset because this is an outrage. Set the server back to the down time and let us get back into the game we left and that will fix a lot of issues.

Might not have been five years but at least 3 years and only one person was online at 4am to try and help and did try but thats besides the point as if my truce was set it would have never happened or needed to defend while I was sleeping.
Ok. Here's what I don't understand. I have been playing this game for roughly 3 years. I started on S8 before merging into N1. This game has gotten progressively worse instead of better. The lag is horrendous on most servers and yet, Evony continues to add more new servers. The rate of which NPCs are turned into flats after maintenance has also gotten ridiculous. When zones go from 98% full to 54% full in one maintenance, that's bad. When nearly all of the zones do that, that just feels like a **** move. When this happens EVERY maintenance, it almost makes you feel like what's the point. Yes, this is a war game. Yes, the big guys will always steamroll over the little guys and take their ****. The little guys or even the mid-sized guys have almost no chance against the mega players and the only way to try to keep yourself safe is to control the open flats around you. But I'm getting off topic. Dawn, WE, the players of Evony, need an explanation about what happened and I agree, a roll back to a time in each server before the downtime is warranted. I too lost resources and eventually troops because of this downtime. A compensation package is not what I want. I want my troops and resources back. So please, roll back the servers. And for God's sake, STOP opening new servers when your current ones are so lagged that your players can barely do anything without being logged off constantly. As you saw, this has been viewed over 600 times. Your players are waiting for you to respond. Please respond very soon. Thank you for your time.

Let me qualify what Evony Claimed :
A player is attacked loses cities heros, resources while evony publishes on FB:
"Hi everyone, we're p[erforming a database hardware upgrade that will result in all servers and the game forums being offline or unreachable"
Some players were on at this time ... Myself included, so I know the server wasn't off line as was claimed
I try to log an alliance member under attack. I can't. I ask others to help, they can't log evony PERIOD.
The alliance writes to comnplain about this, given that Inst Wall heros, Inst Scout heros and cites and res are all taken. We are told to shove off, and Evony will only deal with the player in question.
And they tell the player in question that Evony does not offer compensation for loss.

Evony PUBLISH that the issue is created by themselves, and refuse to take any form of responsibility?
I find this attitude utterly unacceptable. I would have thought someone in Evony would have had the courage to actually admit they were at fault, and offer some sort of acceptable compensation to the player, but they don't.
