    pre comforting change number 1, out of the 40 age 2 servers over 2 years, atlantis had only fallen via pvp exactly once. and this was due to a screw up on the holders part. 16s hardly fall at all. if you think in this war game this is not stagnancy, then youre a fool.

    comforting change number one resulted in 3 publicised atlantis captures along with countless less unpublicised 16 caps during the adjustment period, but ppl ofc have adapted.further tweaking would be a good move. hcs shouldnt be hoarded for countless years by the original capturers. they should be heavily contested real estate that is regularly changing hands on competitive servers. forcing the defenders to resort to the various defences the excellent evony battle mechanics system enables. rather than the tentpig endorsed system we currently have.

    now ill address whether i put in the effort. i once spent 3 weeks camped outside an enemy 16 containing 30 million troops surrounded by a hotzone of spamming reds. not once did that 16 holder open his gates to fight us. he simply bot comforted/speech texted and ran the endless supply of vestas which were well affordable to him.

    his troops sat pretty while his allys fought and died to help him. it was a dull experience.

    if you think that is ok in this war game, well then you shouldnt be playing it.

    we need more of em and more haunted houses btw u said age1 cities have no meaning if my heroes in a city its invaluable

    Firstly, if Age One players opinions hold no value in this discussion, the OP should have made it clear it's an Age 2 issue in the title of the thread. Also, Evony do not treat the two ages as different games, and what happens with Age 2 will happen with Age One.

    However, as little as you think of an Age One city, If it is holding my Insta Pult hero, my Insta Treb hero or my 850 Intel hero, then to me it's worth more than any Atlantis, on any Age 2 server.

    If they are able to hold out by comforting, with the comfort costs as they are, then fair play to the alliance that is holding the 16. Just because you can't take back what was taken from you, comforting doesn't need to be changed. Maybe you need to change your attack plans.

    Cities fall much easier on both Ages now. I believe it is well balanced and nothing needs to change.

    I apologise, I didn't notice this thread was under the Age 2 section, however my point about Evony treating the two ages the same still stands.

    Age 2 HCs are worthless in my book, except for players who are playing Farmony. Can't port an HC around to attack other players. For a while I played the HC game, having 9 with 1 regular city... dumped them all and converted back to 10's.

    I have friends who still play Age 2, and they are doing exactly the same. As for HC controlling states, I do believe (from what I have been told) there are ways to prevent troops being drafted, if you know what you are doing.

    i dont know why people are throwing the hero card at me. this is about online players, account sharing and botting tactics making hcs uncappable. if youre online move your hero to another city. thats irrelevant to the discussion.

    and seriously you think kudos to the people that are paying 10 mil food an hour to keep a city in current gameplay levels? are you aware how little that is on age 2? and are you aware with the new digisocial app there are several age 2 servers where players receive billions of free food a day on top of the daily hnm bonus of -50% upkeep? Do your research before you inflict your opinions upon us.

    yes well thankfully we do not not all play by your book, you should consider this before you post your widely discredited cupcake theories on peoples threads. i could go into to the worth of hcs other than levying troops that not all people realise, but thats another thread, and i suppose not really as relevant in this botting era of evony. however whatever way you look at it, 16s and atlantis still retain their value due to their draft ranges.
