to my understanding,
the last 5, maybe more age 2 servers have been subject to a great decline of accounts being made at server start.
less and less players are going.
minus the 0 prestige accounts that never even build a cottage,
minus the accounts below 5,000 prestige.
in the first full day of na 48, there were less than 2,700 accounts.
deduct the pi quota for average alts.
and you get a rough average of 800-1600 range of accounts.
after i believe 4 days, there were only 55 alliances that seemed legit.
i remember servers where there were upwards of 118,000 to 180,000 newby accounts in the first 24 hours.
average 30,000 active players with 2-3 alts.
i dont just play evony blindly. like a brainless drone.
i watch for trends as well.
im a numbers guy,
i also like to study.
now i am not active on age 1, save an occasional visit every so often.
but if the mass majority of " new" players get directed to age 2 upon start up...
the majority seems more like a minority.
last summer aether1 gave some hope,
5 months ago i reported of this decline.
so many people have came up with tons of ideas for a age 3, aether concepts.
other in game fix ideas for age 1,2.
the haunted/christmas castle was an awesome idea.
the collect 10 somethings for exchange for 1 something to open event was awesome as well.
ya just dont listen/ execute/evolve enough, fast enough.
this isnt M.A.S.H. I love Lucy Andy Griffeth show.
same ole repeats arent fun like the above examples of nostalgia.
i see the writting on the wall.
hide and watch....
