i agree the Enormous amount of gate breakers was ridiculous, if i would use 2 citys to defend every persons first move is break both and descout, so i port one city out (with scouts) and port another in without scouts. (just so i dont get descouted, Been there, done that its no fun.) they will then break the new city i ported in and spam mechs.

Yes there are ways to defend gate breakers, but not when people just spam mechs and scoutsbombs at 2 citys. unless you got a lot of archer padding and preferably an intel hero handy, You are going to lose a lot of troops. thats one of the things that killed 173. Every man and his dog broke every city they came across, cause no one cared what the defender had. and cause no one could instant walls, a lot of citys fell that way (on all sides). ON ss38 no one has really noticed a difference except a lot of people are getting group descouted, since there are no WR for scouts they can descout and port out without defender ever knowing till they log in later. The reason no one cares is because every man and his dog has instant walls and troops to at least archers, (myself included) and normally a decent int hero.

Dont get me wrong, I love gate breakers, some of my best kills are thanks to them, But in massive numbers, They really tip the scales to the attacker.
