Nice screenshots, bro. Too bad neither of them is Evony, right?

To elaborate: when Evony was in beta (over 4 years ago) it was called Civony and had a few placeholder graphics. These were quickly identified and removed (with help from players), around the time Barack Obama became president of the United States.

    Next witness.

Someone who knows the truth... The game didn't change when Microsoft threatened to sue them for no reason. Placeholders are not other games models. That is illegal. Placeholders are generic models. Those were very specific models. Even the NPCs looked like Castles from aoe2.

First one is Age of Empires 2, Second is Civony/Evony beta.

Dawnseeker spews that nonsense like we weren't here when all this crap happened, Lol... I've been here longer than him. Bet he's gonna say Eric Lam ISN'T a known Chinese gold farmer that's been sued by Microsoft multiple times in the past.

Perma Ban Inc, forgot that name is forbidden. We don't speak of the creator around here.

While, I appreciate being called "bro" by dawnseeker...

I know how to use teh internetz. In fact I am very good at using teh internetz and teh internetz tell me Dawn is lying.

Not that it really matters, that was a long time ago and it's been fixed and Evony is it's own ... well.. not sure what it is but it's its own. Kinda.

    Sued by Microsoft?
    And, pray, what happened then?
Did anything come out of it?

I'm guessing the answer is 'NO'.

    Anyone can sue anybody.
The question is: did it stand up to the test of law?

... do you see the aoe graphics anymore?

    Exactly.

Well that's what became of that lawsuit, but the ones prior were for different things, one being click fraud.

Microsoft never sued me. Because never did anything to them. Microsoft sued him. He obviously did something to them. Whether or not they settled out of court is not the point, he is still a thief and a liar. Facts. Proven. Google it up.

I guess it is a point for Evony to note that he is no longer the leader, but they lost most of their original Chinese employees due to people not getting along, actual physical fights etc. So can't really just assume that he doesn't work their because of his business practices.

Anyways, it's a moot point. No reason for this thread to continue on at this point, pretty much all been covered.

By your logic, if A sues B and settles later, it's clear that B is a fraudster.
I wonder how that would then apply if, say, B were to sue A

Also, do name a few well-known companies which have never had employee disagreements or departures.
If you use Google (as you suggested), you could also get to read up on Sergey Brin and Hugo Barra.
Again, by your logic, we must assume that this is a direct fallout of 'business practices', right?

You know, it just might help if you restricted your free handouts of wisdom to the mechanics of this game.

People usually settle because they know they lost the case and don't want to have to pay more and pay for their lawyers dumbass.

They also usually sue for a reason (like stealing graphics)
