    Lol I think evony should upgrade all there machines instead of doing this ip limit. I mean last time yous moved servers around you put servers like ss46 on an older machine wich makes no sence. But on the other hand no one ever said evony techs were rocket scientists. Its happening dawnseeker servers are starting to strike. Gonna suk for evony when no one coins for this promotion. Start evaluating the servers see how many people are playing now. Ss46 gonna be added soon to the server wide ceasefire enjoy.

    I find it funny that you would assume people who are in agreeance with this are small players with small troop counts. I have one of the largest accounts on my server, my VH has one of the largest on the server, and I think if Evony can enforce this 100% across the board, it will be fantastic. Bot or no bot, alts or no alts, we can log in-client and time to the same second attacks to kill over 6 mil mech in 3 seconds. THAT is the skill of game mechanics that the troop hoarders, who wouldnt be able to function without hiding behind mass troops, know nothing about. (Not saying this describes you, just saying it does a lot of people.) "I need alts! So I can build 50 mil mech so no one can clear my city!" That is the vibe im getting from reading these threads about this IP limit stuff. Learn to defend and you wont need all those troops to feel safe, hence you wont need all the alts. And it makes me laugh because those players who know how to play, and know how to clear a war city 5 times bigger than them with way fewer troops, arent worried about this at all.

    I am not trying to sound condescending or whatever, but really people. The game was designed to be a battle game, where you need to learn game skills to play and be successful at it. So instead of chanting "NO LIFT, NO COIN!" in threads, you could, idk, PLAY THE DAMN GAME!

    hahaha I could defend with just 100k archer but when I can't login cause lag ...still even though there is the 3ip limit.......That's my issue....

    Should be a different solution that messing with IP's.

    Yeah, seemed like a good reasonable system. Dawn not joking around. Can you explain to us why you canceled the system you explained on forums in 2009/2010. Seemed like a reasonable system that everyone would be happy with.

    The IP limit is easy to get around folks... Any techie or half a techie can figure out how to get around it... Use your heads...

    I think you've missed the key point in all of this even though you actually typed it in your response. I'll quote just that part again:

    Evony can't enforce it 100% across the board. People will use ip hiders, proxies, vpns, and cross-server account sharing even to get around these limitations. If Evony could enforce it 100% across the board I think it would be fantastic too. But there will always be people with 20 or 50 or 200 alts running just like before, and those people will smash everyone running around with 2 alts.

    There is a point at which skill in the game is diminished by ridiculous troop counts. The difference between what main+2 alts can feed vs. what main+200 alts can feed.. is definitely beyond that point.

    I don't have a magical solution that would benefit both Evony and the players, but I'm sure this is not it. A limit on troop counts or upkeep would be better than this I think. At least then it's an actual limit that would be enforced. 200 alts will not help you anymore than 5 alts would if you can't build more troops.
