Living things find solutions to problems and we help them survive. Yes, I consider plants and animals to be biological technology. Just because we're made of cellular machines doesn't mean we're like a hammer or toaster - there's emergent properties. There comes a point where you're patenting life and mathematics. You shouldn't be able to do that. There's supposed to be a difference between an art and the science behind it.
