Evony should do away with all food buffs. In fact, food consumption should be double.
    Stupid. Idea.

Its a very fair Idea. The biggest coiners with the most accounts and largest armies essentially live upkeep free for long periods of time and live at half upkeep %100 of the time. Not only are they sucking up large quantities of resources from the map and markets and building ridiculously large armies, they also stockpile free food and half food buffs. While they are in holiday and collecting and saving 0 upkeep buffs. I do not holiday to save food it is not necessary. But other people holiday to build the buffs. Those free food weeks completely screw up the markets. It is just as devastating to the markets as a resource glitch. Food gets driven incredibly low while wood gets driven incredibly high because people begin to build more to consume all that cheap food.

To answer the OP question, it is greatly advantageous to large players and coiners as they stockpile the free food and half food days.

As a franchise, Evony should avoid things that interrupt markets. Manipulating free markets is a stupid idea, such as free and half food days.

I would suggest that the person above me go read an economics book, while this is a game the same basic rules apply.

I think banning all buffs and doubling up the cost of each troop is the dumbest idea I have ever heard in my life. If there aren't any buffs the most troops I can ever really use to attack with are like what, 5m arch max? Even that would be pretty costly without HNM. So what you are suggesting is that everyone should run around in tiny WC's? Makes no sense, especially if you think about that currently, most people run around with a ton of troops. What are you going to do? Delete them and have everyone start fresh?

Why would Evony ban something that makes them a ton of money??? Many coiners coin so they can get these 50% upkeep tokens and vestas.
And if food goes sooo low and wood sooo high, sell a ton of wood and buy food. Take advantage of it.
I don't think I need to read an economics book to play this game do I? But since I do, please explain the basics rules that apply, to me the uneducated.

Right, because the markets totally weren't like that back in the days before Vestas and before bots got popular.

    HINT: They were.

If food is low in price about one gold then the larger players will not be able to reimburse a B10 hit with resources for lost archer scout warrior rebuild ?

Best wishes to those who were in ICECOLD, MERC, HONOR on 131, SOLACE on 144, thePack2 on 158

without a doubt the bigger the player it is the more the player benefits from food buffs

If evony removes the Vesta's etc, You will have to coin more, get on more often, and most likely have a smaller army; thus, will make the game unbearable to play. Think before you post please!
