This is also a good reason for evony to impose some sort of troop limit (based off the level of a building, i was thinking a barracks for example can hold 1 mil troops per lvl 10 barracks or something, since in Real life soldiers do sleep in barracks's.
This would in a way put a limit of no more than 24-25mil troops to be stored in a single city. Which i think would be more than reasonable for a good war city even on older servers. Maybe even base the numbers on their population usage when you build them or something (though that way it might want to be increased to a maximum of like 500mil-1bil troops per city (to take into account that its easy to get 100mil scouts legitimatly)
From the post of how the "glitch" works it does require a bot to do. Though I can not speak from experience. Taken from TOS "You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:
use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software, databases or scripts designed to modify the Evony experience;" I would consider using an exploit as such as violation of TOS

I agree 100% with troop limits. Would make the game more fair and more fun. It's really stupid to have 10m archers that you legit built and to try and attack a 16 with 200m archers in it. Troops being capped would allow for turnover of HC's and such. No more sitting with accounts that have been botted for years holding them with 100's of millions of troops. Yes I would give up troops of my own to play an even game.
