Absolutely, I remember one particular night about 5 of his cities were ported in on at once..often up to 3 players per city. I know this well because I was the one defending at the time. I think I ended up porting a few of them away, as I don't think I could truce him at the time and there was nobody around, (except Aussie I think) to port in and take some of the heat off for me.
Look out - Callisto may be coming out of Retirement!!
So how do we change our profile name on this forum?
Hey its all part of the game. When I first started really getting into evony, there was a power alliance on my server. We eventually became a sister, and a few of us moved to the main. The reason this happened is because the attackers in the ally would lead 7-9 people on their top players and wipe the cities. Myself and about 4 others of the strong players in our ally would lead smaller less experienced players in these fights for a few reasons. 1- So they can contribute to the fighting 2- So they can learn and 3- so I can literally have millions of troops to use if the defender puts up a good defense. There were no war ports back then so trying to get an ally close during these was no easy task. This is when 1 mil arch in a city was a rare thing. Now the end story to this is although we did not break them, we sure weakened them and they sure stopped farming our smaller players. They then offered a merge and we dominated the server until we all left for age 2 LMAO. (yeah we really got hyped for the big dissapointment. Not knocking age 2 its just is not the same for someone who started on age 1)
9v1 is a strategic part of the game. If you can completely overpower a person through sheer numbers, why not do it? If it gets the job done. spreads losses throughout so no one is overly weakened and the reds city gets wiped who are we to judge how it got done. There will be no 9v1 asterisks in the evony history books. Just glory for the winning alliance
Now for my last rambling of this post. I cannot believe how this thread has taken off. We are literally about 5 months away from 190, and I feel like it is gonna be an epic server. A lot of oldshool players seem to be in for it, and we should really call all our freinds up for one big boy server. Some consider 146 as the server of the warlords, imo it was as I was there in the thick of things. I havent seen a server with so much turmoil and chaos since. I would love to see that again and if we all do our part I think 190 could be equivalent of the old days of evony.

Holy bible....
Furthermore, we all know the basis of strategy here mate. However, you have an audience of Lyam, so a ridiculous explanation stated above I suppose was necessary. :P
No servers...atm
no this was after you ernie and Desp 3v1'd him, he had 5-6 citys being hit at the same time and we didn't have the numbers online to counterport
The server has potential, but im betting 95% of the big accs change hands at least once before the server settles down to the late game phase.

Damn buzz, you gonna publish that book?

Server 156 up and going!!
There will always be moments like that where there are not many are on to counterport, we had our fair share of times like that as im sure use did... Just gotta deal with it and try to work around it
As refreshing as it would be to have a server last as it did in the earlier days of evony it just doesn't these days.
Either people are just in it to make money,
or they're too concerned about their accounts losing value as the server progresses
or they're too deluded to realise that going to the next server will result in the same and they will still suck just as much.
