well you say it wasn't your fault and that your servers were working, however it was not the players fault that they could not log in either so it all comes back to evony as they were using a 3rd party partner and so should shoulder the blame and give us compensation. the 3rd party partner is evony's responsibility and as such evony should admit this and do something about it but no, evony has not even apologised to its members and just ignored the complaints. I as a regular purchaser of game cents will now be cease to coin
So I write a ticket. I give Evony 12 hours plus to respond to the ticket. I go back to check for a response to the ticket and Evony feels that it is better to delete the ticket than to respond to it. And yes I am speaking about a ticket I wrote about compensation for not being able to log on June 19 2014 for 12 hours. Dave... Where are you? New company that was going to improve customer service... Where are you? It seems to me that you guys preach the TOS but cannot follow a basic logical rule of the customer being right...

It is totally inappropriate for them to think a few words on lamebook is sufficient!! I can not believe that after such a prolonged downtime, they would not offer some type of compensation!?!? I know it would more than likely be too little, too late, as per usual, but at least it would be a demonstration of good faith toward the community....C'mon Evony, take care of your customers for crying out loud!!!

ok controversial i know BUT i am not actually worried about compensation package HOWEVER when a situation like this arises either the server needs rolling back to last possible state it was stable or alternatively upkeep needs to be set to zero to prevent troops and heroes refuging and the stockpile food buffer from being depleted.
outages like this are unusual but they do occur and i think uCool need to do a little bit more to protect their customers from issues which are out of the end users' control. Indeed uCool may argue that this issue was not theirs but with a third party supplier. If uCool do not have the hardware to run this game inhouse and have chosen a business model that relies on external suppliers then that is uCool's problem and not that of end user. Whoever's failure it was the one party that was not to blame was the customer/player but it is the customer/player who has suffered loss of food, loss of troops and some loss of heroes.
uCool, you say that suppliers are putting in measures to ensure this does not happen again - can you share with us what YOU are doing.
Remember the outage at the data centre in LasVegas - that too was an incident that wouldn't happen again and yet shortly after it did. wasn't it an electrician setting fire to something whilst installing a UPS to prevent power failure![]()
When it's hot like this it is totally unacceptable not to provide the hamsters with at least a fan (preferably AC) and something cool to drink. Don't ever let this happen again!
Simple solution is to leave more then a days worth of food in ur cities then when theres an outage your troops dont refuge![]()
Nevermind copensation for troops. troops i can (or should i say COULD OF) rebuild when i have resources. However being attacked before an 11 hour downtime at multiple cities caused me to lose 5 heroes. All of which above lvl 1000 instant pults trebs and intel defence included. Account is now rendered worthless with no nations and an attack hero not even in the 900's left. So thanks evony for considering the impact this downtime has on your players. I now have nothing to show for 5 years playing.
Anyone able to access 183?? having problems getting in tonight.. other servers seem to be fine though
