Yes The game revolves around teamwork, IT also revolves around the game mechanics which decide the outcomes of battles. "Oh look i killed 1 mill archers with a mech wave hurp the durp." Anyone can kill 1 mill arch with a mech wave without too much trouble. Expecially with the ability to send 156250 units in a wave. People were getting 1 mill mech kills sending 100k units. Battle reports is dead because next to no one post reports anymore, and im glad that SS57 still shares some of its wars, ive followed the progression of SS57 for some time, Since Imhotep played, I used to lurk the thread in the servers section just to watch the battle reports.
However - battle reports has died lately because everyone tries to pull out the biggest and baddest kills, OR the downfall of a large enemy. - none succeed, with a mixture of bots in the meta game, and armies upwards of 500 million troops, it is very difficult to make threads interesting, and yall do a decent job of keeping people coming back (even if it is mostly to smack talk)
You REALLY want to show your foes up? step up your game. it takes literally 10 seconds of planning before attacking to work out decent waves. the standard for mech waves have not changed - 50/38, 70/50, 88/66. respectivly for each max troop limit (100, 125, 156) - SInce hitting CDs with a hundred billion archers in em, ALL you are doing is spamming mechwaves, You could at least take the time to get the waves to kill maximum. - The total time = 10-20 seconds of planning.
You are throwing some monster heros - good on ya, bigger hero = bigger kills. Might as well make the UTMOST of said heros and Throw some decent waves with em.
Had you all sent Better waves, You may have killed another 25% more. Which means you would have hit mechs earlier, which means you would have killed more mechs.
I know players who have zero wish to learn the game mechanics on ss38. But even they can use a formula i tell them too
Hey fakename - Use 70/50 waves this next set and we will tear em a new poopshoot. Its THAT simple.
The game has been running long enough for people to get over the daft waves of 2009/2010. Step up!.
