LOL. You must first define what it means to have a great hero. Those heroes were constructed by nothing less than stealing OnWars from 100s of accounts. How does that make them great exactly? Where's the thread about the greatest hero built using resources, time, strategy, minimal multi-accounts.

I remember growing my hero several years ago... I would build build build then hit NPCs for days with defense exp inbetween. At the time, I never once thought I would make it to Max Archer Intel. But, as time went on and I made it to 956 att 300 intel then 400 intel then 500 intel and I saw the 684 goal of Max Archer Intel with corselet in sights. I made it! It was so satisfying. The second I used my 10 or so alts to pass the OnWars a few years back in order to bring hero up to my new goal at the time of Max Scout Intel of 1934+corselet with 1221+Excal Attack, was the moment the greatness left that hero.

And alas, these super heroes are just another example of the atrocity that the Banner of the Horde has brought this game by refusing to reward skill and knowledge over hero level and troops. You almost need a super hero now just in order to attempt a defense nowadays... lol, but that's what you get when you become liberal in gameplay instead of traditional and balanced; it's not the only Devs who have fallen in that trap, though.

No need to have great heroes now, just glitch troops - they are made for free and no hero level needed

Of course you'll gain plenty of levels through being attacked or attacking, but so what? There is no need to worry, just glitch 40 or 50 million troops each week and burn them. Since you can pile 750 million honor onto a guy at no cost to you in time or resources, you'll heal most of the troops you glitched.

This is a huge problem, because no skill is required when you don't need to worry about making more fodder.
