Yep, Flash is indeed dead. The game will likely die with it, considering that it's likely not making enough money for the developers to warrant switching to HTML5 or something. That would require dedicated reprogramming, etc., and I doubt the game provides enough of an income to warrant such changes anymore. They're focused on their mobile app instead, not the Age I or Age II games.

In the meantime, I would like for you to enjoy this video before I vanish for the next couple months.

Are you kidding me, so many people buy 30 packs it's not even funny. The only reason why the game keeps dying is cause idiots join new servers and then take everyone out so that others can't enjoy the game. As for flashplayer evony can fix that if they really wanted to. They make enough money off people and the people don't actually get the coins they should. Evony is basically cheating people out of money.

It's not cheating people out of money if they pay it voluntarily for a game they know won't be around forever, not to mention a server that will be active for even less time.

Odds are that the browser-based game makes far less than the owner's other projects do (like the mobile game of the same name as this one), so I doubt it'll receive very much attention. Let's face it: the cool kids for the most part don't play Evony anymore -- not on Age I or II, anyway.

I really enjoyed evony age 1 back in the 2009 days. Currently learning to code and trying to make my own mmorts, heavily inspired by evony. Don't give up hope yet

Working on some backend stuff at the moment, having some trouble with php and sql database queries. I'll post updates here and there, should have a playable alpha within the next 2-3 months.

Even more glad I never spent a dime on this game. Dev's will let the game die and ucool will keep all the money people gave them, for essentially what will turn into absolutely nothing. I say if the game is going to die, then allow people to port across servers, and remove all food and res requirements. Let Evony end in one giant war to end all wars. Might as well.
