Default Abusing the 100 warrior wave to help take a level 10 barb town?

Anyone thought of this yet? Have a level 9 rally point and send 8 waves of 100 warriors each and have the 9th wave land after the last wave of warriors?

The warriors should trigger a good portion of the rockfalls and rolling logs so you lose less archers/ballista. If you have multiple cities around the level 10 town you could send more waves of warriors to hit right before your big attack so you can wipe it all out before respawn.

Wonder how many expensive troops this would save? Anyone planning on taking a level 10 barb town wanna test this?

barb lev have 400k war so its not really wise to do so....I had first wave of archers and balistas only......lost 8k archers nothing more so its one of the cheapest ways to go

Sending 100 warriors against any level of NPC would be a fruitless gesture. They regen too fast. Leech Dogging a player city like this works because they aren't on 24/ 7 to comfort and raise loyalty, or produce a basic level of troops to stop wall siege for a specific number of rounds. I'm sure there is a number that would work for what you are suggesting but it's well above 100 warriors. It would be xxxx + 1 for the traps in that city because they regen full traps instantly.

    This is a joke.

With level 10 walls, the 100 warriors would never make it to the city. The warriors would be killed at range before they even got close.

He didn't suggest that they would... he suggested that they would trigger a fair portion of the traps etc. so that the following waves of siege troops would take less damage.

But I don't think he's considering the range of the AT's... I don't think 100 warriors would reach the traps. 10,000 maybe... but you could try it by attacking with 100 warr's only and see what happens.

if anything, the rockfall (well whatever it's named now) has the same range as the towers. so the enemy should lose some of them. hopefully i can scout the town after the attack lands this time.
