Never said they weren't two different things. What I did say is that by attempting to nerf NPC farming, defenders in general gained an unfair advantage over attackers.
As for those who are wondering what kind of player I am, I am the leader of a #2 alliance, a top 20 player, and undoubtedly have one of the largest armies in the game, so I believe I'm not a player incapable of taking cities. My issue is that a lot of people I know are leaving because of defenders having such an unfair advantage. It's possible for an average player with an average army, and who knows what she is doing, to take down a million units from a coordinate alliance attack. This of course goes the other way. So what's left? Play a type of simcity while turtling, keep up the boring NPC farming until you want to kill yourself, or pick on new players?
Not cool. Range bonuses should be either eliminated, or should only apply to wall fortifications. It would also be nice if scouts stop attacking during a scouting mission, and really, attackers should not be suiciding in the first place if they run into a defenseless wall. Just my thoughts, though.

well if you wanna get realistic about it how do you have 1million troops empire wide when your total population is only 200k.... change it to troops are limited to population and bam problem solved power=size very realistic 200k beats 5k anyday idc how they fight.
They need to do a troop restoration again.. =\
A few thousand AT's can tke out tens of thousnds of Archers and warriors.
