Thats the problem. We are talking about 400k dead troops to take over the city of someone who is sleeping, who can not adapt to the tactics of their enemy, and who isn't reinforced by their alliance. 400K dead troops to capture the city of someone who is not using two of the biggest and most difficult to overcome defensive advantages.

Someone who is utilizing those advantages? Who is in a guild willing to send relief forces? Who is online to consolidate their forces? We are talking about closer to four million troops dead, if it is even possible.

The problem with such attacks is that even if they are theoretically possible, actually engaging in such activities is preposterously stupid. No city is worth the deaths of a million troops. Crippling your guild's ten most active players to pry a city from one top one hundred player is akin to bragging about slitting your wrist and staining an enemy's shirt.

If that guy was hitting your alliance mate, it would have been smarter to just institute an open gate policy and reinforce them when they came under attack.
