just woundering if anyone could make an uptodate guide to Pres building (dont know why this in the stickied guids anf FAQ's read this first topic its old and wouldnt give anough to work anyway

1st it gives such a small amount of Pres that its better to just do it he regular way
2nd if your instant finnishing the building how would you ever have time to do it in more
    than one city?

now i may be wrong im rather new but as far as an uptodate guide wouldnt it be best to get every resource tool to lvl 4 then only upgrade one at a time from each tool
(example you got all resource thigns to lvl 4 you want to upgrade farm you upgrade one to lvl 5 then same one to lvl 6 then if you wanted to upgrade iron mill you upgrade saem one to lvl 7 but see that now you want more food so go back and upgrde the one to lvl 7 not upgrade them all at same rate)

thts just an example and not certain if its right but seems to give more production then just upgrading all of each type at same rate and gives more Pres too

(but yeah im still rather new so any experienced members want to let me know if im right and want to make a real up to date guide for this??? please ;-)

Can anyone tell me how many troops is needed to overcome the wall (depending on wall levels) after i have wipe out the city's fortifications? I don't want to waste my scouts or cav trying to find that out.

    thanks heaps

Wow. Haven't seen this in the active forum list for some time. It's a great guide. Maybe one day, I'll write it's companion "Importance of Speed: Explained".

Ok, i have done this the hard way. I have sent all my troops to wipe out an pc fortifications.

Next I have sent several waves..no, correction, many waves of troops to bring down loyalty.

Including 1 wave of scouts which incidentally got killed. (So yeah, scout scamming no longer works to confirm with everyone out there). I also sent many waves of cav and pikes and archers and ballatis.

BUT the problem is this. Once the loyalty reached 15 and public grievances reach 1, it just keeps staying there no matter how many waves i sent. The troops inside just won't come out to fight. So I am forced to sent many many more waves. Heck, I have been at this for the last 3 hours and STILL, the loyalty is at 15 and grievances at 1. Now, this game has got its frustration but this has to be one of the worst. If u want to change the rules here and there...FINE, but at least let us know wat it takes to achieve something in this game. At least let me know how to conquer a damn bloody city!!!

I am on the verge of walking away from this game. It is so full of changes and uncertainty of wat u need to do to win. WTF..

^ Maybe you are sending in lots of SMALL waves of attacks, the attacks are perhaps so small that it doesn't affect the loyalty? Try sending in a few Big attacks and see if there is a difference. I did it and it worked for me.

How big is considered enough? Any indications?

whats odd is,i sent 120 scouts and 100 cavalry to finish off a city,i attacked it alot,so its loyalty was at 10,and i knew it had no defenses left, and i still lost, and the attack report said there was nothing there to destroy them, and they all died, what happened?
