    Default Attacking since the latest patch?

    I have managed to get the loyalty of a target city down to 14 but cant get any further?
    Consistently attacking and all I get is :-
    Public Grievance Trend: 1
    City Loyalty: 14

    The thread that starts this guide was written when scout spamming was valid, so I am wondering what else has changed and how do I go about completing the attack and claiming the city?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    Get public grivance up and it will lower loyalty its self

    Is it real?

    Is it true that if a player has only one city that player cannot be attacked? Or that player just cannot be conquered?

    Also, this may be off topic, but I was hoping if any one of you could tell me what happens when a player creates an alliance instead of just joining it?

    Do alliances have alliances with other alliances so those two alliances wouldn't attack each other?

    A player's only city can not be conquered. They can be attacked. If a player leaves the game, and become inactive. you can continue to attack and take resources, eventually, drive the loyalty down to zero and population down to zero. you con continue to attack, but nothing would be gained.

    This is somewhat off topic, but I will answer some of your questions.
    When a person creates an alliance, they can invite friends to help with their defense, share resources, etc.

    Alliances can't have a alliance with other alliances, they can have friendly status, which means, the two alliances will not attack each other. They can't share resources, or reinforce a friendly alliance's city. It just means the two will not be attacking one another.

    right guys.... something has changed here... they have no defences in the city anymore, but sending 1 scout with one hero does not work anymore if they have scouts in place... since the recent change, the scouts loose the battle!!!
    They dont die, they just lose the fight! So scout spamming doesnt work no more

    Scout spamming was stopped with the last update weeks ago, there has been lots of talk about it in the forum ;-)

    do you need to have archers in the city for the archer towers to work or is a archer tower like a trap in the way it just kills with out any people? also how do u know if a persons gates are open?

    archer towers are separate, independent units that DO NOT need to have archers supplied.

    As far as I know there is no way to tell if their gates are open or closed
