Thread: I'm scared.

  1. #1

    Default I'm scared.

About one week ago, I was sitting in my house in a dark room working on my laptop. From the other end of the room seemed to come a person running full speed at me. I heard their foot falls on the ground. They were loud. I could even hear other sounds like clothes shifting and such. As I looked up, startled, I even saw a body of some kind running at me in the dark. It stopped or disappeared once it reached me. Needless to say, I nearly fell out of my chair. I know there was no one else in the room with me. And I know something ran at me. I fully believe I saw a ghost then.

Tonight, not 5 minutes ago, I was sitting in the same room, all dark. I yawned and looked up from my computer. Standing, maybe, 1 or 2 feet away from me was a figure of a large man. He had to have been six feet at least. He had two small, round eyes. They were very far apart. He was smiling, and his mouth was bigger than anything I have ever seen on a person. It was crooked and stretched so wide, with puffy lips. I don't recall seeing a nose or any ears on him. I did fall out of my chair. I grabbed my laptop and got out of the room. I'm sitting down stairs with all of the lights on debating what I should do. I want to wake some one up and tell them what happened, but no one is going to believe me. If I wake my mother up, she's going to be very angry and she's not going to believe a single word I say.

HE WAS RIGHT THERE. He wasn't transparent or see through or anything else. He was perfectly solid. He was just standing there. When I looked back up after I'd fallen on the floor, there was nothing there, but I think I might have heard other sounds in the room besides the ones I was making. I can't really describe them. Maybe, shuffling noises?

I swear to you all, I am not making any of this up. There was something there, solid and real. There's something wrong here. I'm so scared right now, I'm shivering.

Well....I've had some scares but nothing like that. Maybe a few times I could have sworn I heard someone say my name when I was tired but that was it. Sorry, can't give you any advice.

I was sleepy a week ago, but I'd only been in the room an hour. It happened around 10:30 or 11:00 or so. Not that sleepy, but tired. Getting to the point where I might start to think about going to bed.

Right now, though, I am not sleep deprived. I had to be up at the airport early two days ago and ended up getting home at 10 am. I intended to take a short nap, and I slept until past 5pm. So, I've had an odd sleep schedule lately.

I am now creeped out even more from the schizophrenia topic. I normally love macabre stuff or disturbing things, but that topic is creepy. I don't think it was a hallucination.

I don't know how to impart to you all how very real it was. There is no doubt in my mind about whether there was something there or not. Or rather, whether I saw something there. By that, I don't just mean I imagined something. I mean, if someone else had been there with me, they would have seen him as well.

He didn't look like an alien, or like what aliens are conventionally said to look like. His eyes were regular human like eyes, just small. His mouth was almost stretched and cut looking. His smile was so big, it seemed like his head might fall off if he'd opened his mouth. And his lips were bloated and puffy, like they were inflamed or infected. His head wasn't round, it seemed sort of squashed.

My dogs were just upstairs growling at something as I typed this. They sounded very angry. I called them and they both immediately came running downstairs to me. They're both laying on the floor now, but every once in a while, they look up like they heard something, but I don't hear anything. We're directly below the room I was in, and they keep looking up toward the vent in the ceiling that goes to that room.

I fell asleep on the couch last night. After rereading through this, something I forgot to mention was that he had an overcoat on. I couldn't tell what color, but it was very long and might have been made out of leather. It looked like it would be heavy.

This morning, my mom was still at home. Before she left I told her what I saw and asked her to go into the room with me. She told me that I have an overactive imagination and my mind was playing tricks on me, but she went in with me. The dogs were with us as we went in. When we entered the room, the dogs started pacing around the room, growling, with their fur on their backs standing up. My mom and I were immediately surprised by that. They were acting as if there was someone they didn't know in the room, or an animal they didn't know. They went all around the room, smelling everything like it was brand new to them. They spend lots of time in that room and never go over things with more than a casual sniff. They were acting like they were completely unfamiliar with the room.

My mom said this was very odd. She said that the dogs' reactions were so strange that it made her think that something was up. She had me tell her everything I was doing in the room last night as well as repeat my experience to her.

She said that she's going to call the Keagol's, the last people who lived in the house to ask them about their son's story about a ghost. When we moved in 4 years ago, their son whose name was also Cory told us this story about how he'd seen a ghost upstairs here. As I recall, he said he woke up from a nap in the afternoon and looked out and saw someone standing in the middle of his room that he'd never seen before, or something like that.

Honestly, this is all too much. I mean, even after experiencing all of this, I feel like I'm lying about it. But, I'm not. Yet, I still want to call this all bull ****.
