    Action: Suicide troops.

Additionally, one of the things that ticks me off is that they fixed the prestige gain from this tactic, WITHOUT removing the need to use this tactic. If you want to get a rose medal from a level 1-3 lake, you are still going to have to send a tiny group of warriors to their death rather then a fair bit of archers that can dispatch the enemy safely.

Prestige is a meaningless number. Sure, people use it for ranking but even as a ranking it is rather artificial.

Having to get thousands of troops killed to up the medal drop rates instead sending an army of quality is not meaningless. Okay, people realized that there was actually a way to farm the fact that Evony rewards you for fighting stupid, and punishes you for fighting smart.

But instead of just removing one of the rewards for fighting stupid, (while leaving the other.) wouldn't it have been better to reward good tactics and punish bad?
I duno.. I'd think the reward is the medal.. when it drops.. and lost troops are just chalked-up to being the cost of conquest. /shrug

But yeah, I see your point.

    /edit/
I think prestige should be gained from PvP attack and defense. Honor is useless, give prestige instead.. with a scaled down reward for each wave, over time.. to keep people from alliance-kicking and farming each other for Prestige.

Or, just do away with it all together...
