Default Trick to still get prestige from NPCs

Conquered a lvl 10 NPC and got around 4k prestige doing so...

First wave netted around 2k prestige...

So yeah, you get prestige from beating NPCs and not for sending your men to suicide anymore... I mean seriously why the fu...dge would you get prestige for for failing your attacks by suiciding your men.

And why are people complaining of the prestige change when you still get a ton from actually beating NPCs.

Because winning a battle against a lvl 10 NPC isn't as easy as losing over and over and over and over and over.

    People like easy.

It obviously makes no sense to win prestige by getting destroyed in a battle. But once people figured out this is how it worked they figured out a way to benefit from it and convince themselves that it was ok to do so.

Congrats on conquering a lvl 10 NPC.

does anyone remember that they made it obvious, the more units you lose in battle, the better gains you get?

Now you have to define what victory is:

    1. Wiping out you enemy. Wine the massive battle.
    2. Causing far more damage to your opponent then they do to you.

Both are victories, are they not. One is the European style of combat (massive armies squaring off). The second is the Chinese style of combat (attrition). Sending warriors to Lv 10's, causes more damage than you lose, because the traps, logs, and DT's that you destroy are worth more than the warriors that were killed. With the defense boost, I ALWAYS send a few waves of warriors to clear out some of those defenses, to weaken if for the main strike. Is this cheating, or just being smart? The devs saw fit to award players prestige and honor the same way; by causing more damage than you lost. Suiciding for prestige isn't even an exploit (I have never done it by the way) because it takes both time and resources to make those warriors. Remember, exploit was defined after the NPC nerf as 'something for nothing' method. In order to call this an exploit, you would have to change the defination of an exploit. If you can always change the definition of an exploit, then how long untill the method of building you cities to support 1.25 million archers without any farming(a lot more with NPC farming which still works rather well), is called an exploit?
