Thread: Cheaters??

    Thumbs down Cheaters??

Hi, first I'd like to say, I am the host of a top 5 alliance in server 1. I have a member who was a big hitter in my alliance who was close to 1 mil prestige. He got on today to see he was accused of being a cheater and stripped of his prestige. Well I did some research and found out what the devs thought were "cheaters". Well I know some did use the warrior spamming to gain tons of prestige in a short amount of time. But some did other things to gain prestige. My member who was accused of cheating did NOT use the warrior spam as a way to gain prestige. When he sent an attack on a lvl 10, he lost about 7k archers, and 1k warriors, but he sent ballista, pults, and tons of archers to lose lose least amount of ballista as possible. He did not warrior spam a lvl 10, and if his tactic to attack a lvl 10 with ballista, pults, warriors, and archers is cheating, well that seems very wrong. What happened to him is BS, an probably causing him to leave the game. I know it's only prestige, but he did not cheat. I'd like something to be done about this. Thanks 4 reading

We don't want to unfairly punish anyone. If someone's Prestige was lowered incorrectly, we'll definitely restore it. Can you ask your alliance mate to post a couple of his battle reports from these attacks so we can review them?

    Another datapoint here is that:

To correctly conquer a lvl10 NPC city with minimal loses you do NEED to spam warriors on it, after your initial hit, to take down loyalty.

I don't know if that somehow caught as a flag. But I've done this countless times to capture lvl10 npc cities. If this is what is being used to determine the flag for exploiting, then that is wrong.

Then you shouldn't be punishing anyone. It is not the players fault that your developers did a poor job designing the battle system and now are punishing members for finding out about their screwup.

Your prestige wont be reset if you won battles sending warriors against lvl 10 barbs...only if you were suiciding low amounts purely for the prestige exploit.

Its funny so see all the excuses

    But i thought i could defeat a lvl 10 npc sending 20 waves of 100 warriors ??

Yes that's all well and good. But where does it say we can't? You can't institute a new regulation and then punish people for violating that regulation before it was in effect. That's the issue people are upset about, which I fully understand. If you want to make it a rule that you can't do that, fine. From here on out now prestige spamming NPCs, just like you can't scout spam a village any more. But this is just rediculous.
