I think people have a right to know if the Game owners think or will decide that making and farming NPC's is an exploit. Most of us dont want to cheat and just need their rules clearly stated. Send a system message and warn players to stop and most quit doing it right then. It's not asking to much I believe.

I fail to understand the point of inflammatory posts.

The creator of this thread describes a system in which he has created an NPC farm community, periodically teleports his war city into this neighborhood, farms his NPC`s for awhile, stocks up on materials, and then teleports again to do battle.

I`d speculate that there are many players who use these tactics to play this game.

The creators and owners of this game have as a first priority the objective of making a profit on the operation of their gaming software and servers. I can only guess that they`re meeting their objective based on the non-periodic increase of servers being brought on-line for this game. The obvious source of profit is the selling of "game coins" to their user base. The creator of this thread is probably a profitable customer for MCGE. In real-world figures, an advanced teleporter costs $9.00 USD, and if a significant number of players are using this tactic, the derived revenue is probably a factor in any decisions made regarding the future of NPC farming.

Were the ability to farm NPC`s diminished or eliminated it`s likely the revenue stream would drop.

Thats not what i do. I put my NPC Farm City at an area with a lot of flats and created NPCs. I farm them with that city. My other city (my War City) i will be moving within 100 miles of my NPC farm city. I will transport the food to my war city to feed the archers im producing with my Production Cities. My production base (which consists of 4 cities) are 400 miles away, and produce lumber and archers. Occassionally i will group the archers up and send them to my war city, and send food as needed. Note that it takes 10 million food just to transport around 40k archers + transports to hold the food.

Although i am a paying customer and supporter in that matter, i dont constantly teleport my cities around, because of the cost of an advanced teleport. Reduce the cost and ill happily purchase them =)

It is not an intended function and we intend to eliminate it once we have a practical replacement for it, but we're not going to punish anyone for doing it unless it is extremely excessive (like blocking every flat within 10 miles of you).

Why Should Those That Farm Have To Make Way For Those That Can't?
If You Want A City, Take One Of My NPC's. It'll Atleast Start You Off A Kind of Good Standing.

Any insight as to what the preferred 'replacement' method will be? I currently turn every flat I can within a 30min march of me into an NPC. If this is an exploit then I will just have to start beating up on new players, or dismiss my army and most likely quit due to boredom.
