why the hell would u want diplomatic relations to be reset??? ppl are at war cuz they hate each other, ppl are at peace cuz they love each other, ppl are neutral when they havent found s*** about the other ppl!

wouldn't bother me a bit if that were to happen
our "friendly" alliances are only friendly because they're tired of us attacking them and worked out SOME kind of deal with our host
they never come around when we're at war... i honestly don't know why we give them protection from us but oh well... it'd be nice for a day of owning them all for not helping when 3 alliances declared war on us at once (we won btw)
If you want war, there's plenty who will give you all you can handle.

I dont know why people say things like "its a game" and expect that to mean anything. People play games for many reasons.
Some like to play the more touchy-feely style game where everyone wins a participation trophy at the end, and that's fun for them.
Some like to play brutal king of the mountain style games, where one rises up by tearing another down, and in the end there is only one winner, and that's fun for them.
Others play things in the middle. So just because something is "just a game" doesn't mean that it's totally irrelevant what you do in the game, because some people don't have fun with arbitrary changes to their play.
Alot of the lakes around me are held by friendly alliances, people who haven't logged in for weeks but we keep members who haven't logged for months so I suspect that's less a mechanics consideration, more a host failure. The illusion you need more alliance people to look tough keeps them from dropping bailed characters. I've seen 30 man alliances that were set up like a brick wall. 100 man that were tinfoil so it's appearance but sometimes appearance is what matters I suppose.
I'm just trying to figure out the why for such a request. Attack at will? You can do that now. If everyone is friendly, go rogue. There is no compulsary war requirement.
Better idea, Leave your Alliance, Then you can have all the Wars you want.
