    Not news. I've had an NPC drop an Amulet a couple of weeks ago. It was the only time I saw one drop anything other than a medal (even in Ye Olde Days of Mich Script galore, I only got a few of them from PC towns).

    I think the game was trying to redeem itself for only dropping me crap whenever I spun the Wheel...

    I havent seen an amulet drop from an NPC until today.

    My guess is an unintended but perhaps overlooked result in wheel of fortune luck levels rising. Game engines are about code modules that multi task. It's what makes patching and upgrading as well as nerfing so difficult. The modules effect so many apsects of game performance, doing a simple buff or nerf can ripple through the game.
