Thread: Queen of Evony - Voting fair?

Default Queen of Evony - Voting fair?

I don't know about you guys but the "Winning Voters Receive an additional bonus if they voted for the candidate who won!" kinda ruin all the voting. Many people simply vote for the one with the most vote so THEY get the rewards. I would suggest hiding the vote numbers so it does not affect voters' judgment.

Anyways, I don't care really but it just seem corrupted a little bit.

Think of them as exit polls

Exit polls are announced AFTER the polls are closed. Showing the votes when the voting procedure is still running is ludicrous. But what do I know about democracy? I'm Greek, after all...

Actually many people run exit polls of people right after they step out of the voting booth to get a sense of how the votes are going without actually tallying up all the votes.

However they don't show you the exit polls on the voting booth screen itself.

True, but do they announce the results while the voting procedure is still running?

Yah they do, they're not allowed to announce a winner until the polls close but they do broadcast results minute by minute and when results are heavily in one direction they will say "it looks like this candidate will win" or whatever. It's kind of a travesty I'll admit but that's how we do it here.

Wow...just wow. If they ever pulled that stunt over here, the country would burn.

    1. I was half kidding
    2. They do run exit polls throughout the election day, displaying their tallies on television and the internet. In large countries, this upsets west coast voters, who feel the election is decided before they get a chance to even vote lol.
    3. Greeks were the second democracy in the world :P
