    2. They do run exit polls throughout the election day, displaying their tallies on television and the internet. In large countries, this upsets west coast voters, who feel the election is decided before they get a chance to even vote lol.
    3. Greeks were the second democracy in the world :P
I take it #3 is you half-kidding again, right?
As for #2, I've already stated my opinion on that. To reiterate, I find it ludicrous. That's not democracy, that's demagoguing (both Greek words, btw).

I'm not saying it's fair or even wise. But in countries with strong democracies free speech is very hard to limit in any way.

No, I'm not, my understanding is that Greeks were one of the very first democracies, and the longest surviving democracy. But I stand to be corrected, I'm not an expert in the subject.

Democracy was founded in ancient Greece. In Athens, to be more precise. The word itself is Greek, and roughly translates as "the power/authority of the citizen".

Okay, so I was basically right...

I heard that ancient Rome had democracy first, but whatever; they're long gone anyhow.

(My thought from another similar topic) Here is my opinion on the matter.
Although "some" may or may not have voted for the one that had the most votes already.... I myself voted for her *NOT BASED ON CURRENT VOTES, at the time*
There were 3 or 4 others I might or might not have chosen.. but I just did enie minie moe.

Here's how I look at it. During Medieval Europe times, the Silk road existed as a long and treacherous path from Europe to Asia along which and through trade was conducted.
Other routes, such as sea routes also connected Asia and Europe, but the silk road was pretty much the representation of it.

What is wrong with having an Asian Warrior Queen? There have been a few instances in history in which a queen did not just rule, but actually inspired and lead her troops to tremendous victories. As I see it, Asian Warrior queens could have been married to wealthy duke's or kings in Europe at that time. It's quite possible. If it isn't, then this can serve as an alternative history storyline, as it is just a game, and is there for the sake of fun.
